Job Description:
The Sales Trainee will participate in face to face and remote selling to new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.
The base location shown as Bangalore , which is the Animal Nutrition and Health business head quarter is for administrative purposes . The sales trainees selected will be expected to be flexible for base locations anywhere in India , including Tier 3 and 4 cities . After the completion of 4 months training the trainees will be posted anywhere in India and will be responsible for the revenue targets of the respective territories .
Key Accountabilities:
Help develop and deliver sales calls , proposals, presentations and participate in conducting product demonstrations to channel partners like farmers , veterinarians , retailers and stockist.
Help identify and contact prospective customers.
Build customer relationships that help generate future sales and repeat business.
Apply broad theoretical job knowledge to sell directly to customers.
Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Job Description:
This is an individual contributor role in an employee oriented, high performance environment that emphasizes on spreading the BYJUs unique way of learning in your city. Your role will start with contacting the potential customers (parents & students) to set up meetings, counsel the students on learning pedagogies, and the BYJUS personalized learning journey.
Training:
All interview selected candidates will become a part of the Applicant Training Program
The training program has two Stages:
1. Stage1: Classroom Training Program (CRT)
Duration: 2 Weeks. Location: Role Location
Working model: 6 days
Post completion of 2 weeks the trainee will be assessed on various parameters. Only qualifying trainees will be moved to Stage 2 (OJT stage) of the program.
2. Stage 2: ‘On-the-job’ Training (OJT)
Duration: 4 Weeks. Location: Work from Home
Working model: 6 days
Post completion of 4 weeks, the Applicant Trainee will be assessed on various parameters. Only qualifying trainees will become eligible to be offered a Business Development Associate (BDA) role. (Subject to approval from management).
The training program will be for 6 days a week. The assessment parameters will include performance metrics, capability and quality audits, and feedback from the manager/ trainer and HR Team. Upon successfully passing the training program, you become eligible to be offered the role of BDA – Inside Sales (at Rs. 8 LPA).
