  • Experience in one of the following areas: Ship structural design/hull Equipment/outfitting design / HVAC design. Experience in ship design software is an advantage.
  • Qualifications: BE / B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering / Mechanical / Marine Engineering / Any equivalent qualification).

We’re a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all types of test cases and utilizing automation test tools to ensure the functionality and compatibility of our products. We’re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in software/testing procedures.

Develop, test and integrate code for new or existing software while following source code revision control 

  • Troubleshoot software reliability and performance issues 
  • Review requirements, specifications and designs, developing and implementing tests for product quality and performance assurance 
  • Assist with the development and review of (technical) end user documentation 
  • Drive idea generation for new software products or for the next version of an existing product

  • Requires knowledge on software testing and automation tools/scripting along with Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a computer related field (B.E./BB.E/B.Tech & M. Tech)

Age Limit:

Candidates age must be in between 18 to 28 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.

Selection Process for DRDO Recruitment 2022:

For the post of Senior Technical Assistant:

  • Selection will be on performance in Tier-I and Tier-II
  • Tier-I and Tier-II will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
  • The Score of Tier-I (CBT) may be normalized per requirement.
  • The Tier-I and Tier-II will consist of objective type multiple choice questions only.
  • Tier-I examination is for screening and Tier-II is for final selection.

For the post of Technician A:

  •  The Score of Tier-I (CBT) may be normalized as per requirement.
  • The Tier-I (CBT) will consist of objective type-multiple choice questions only.
  • Tier-I examination is for Provisional selection and Tier-II (Trade Test) is qualifying in nature.
  • Trade test will be of ITI level in the related trade, to test the practical skills of the candidates. The test may be of about one to two hours duration.
  • The mode of selection may change depending upon the organizational requirement/Govt. of India
    policy for both STA-B & Tech-A posts.
