NTT DATA Corporation is a Japanese system integration company and a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT). Japan Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation, a predecessor of NTT, started Data Communications business in 1967. NTT, following its privatization in 1985, spun off the Data Communications division as NTT DATA in 1988, which has now become the largest of the IT Services companies headquartered in Japan. TT DATA is a publicly traded company, but is about 54 percent owned by NTT.
Its business areas are in national and local governments, financial, and telecommunication sectors. According to reports in 2012, Forbes Global 2000 recognizes NTT DATA as the 5th largest IT Services company.

Rounds in NTT DATA Recruitment Process
Round-2 Group Discussion
- This is a 30 minute round with around 10-15 members comprising a group.
- 30 minutes is divided into:
- 10 minutes for common discussion
- 1 minute per person for individual points
- Remaining for concluding remarks & discussion.
- Around 50% candidates are eliminated in this round.
Round -3 Technical Interview
- Time duration is 15-20 minutes
- This is purely based upon technical skills (Coding, problem solving skills) and they mainly concentrate on the things that you’ve mentioned in your resume.
- You should have a good knowledge about your final semester project.
- To clear this round you should be clear with your basics.
- For Computer Science Stream, you should be prepared with Data structures and Algorithms, DBMS, Operating System, Networking, OOPs concepts and a programming language of your choice.
- CS students may even be expected to write codes in the interview.
Round – 4 HR Interview
- This round is for 10-15 minutes maximum.
- This is the final round with face to face interaction with the company HR.
- Once you’ve reached this round, you’re almost in (90% done).
- This round mainly tests your presence of mind and your personality (your confidence, body language etc
- They generally ask questions on team work i.e. How do you see yourself as a team player.?
- Just give positive answers for what ever they ask.
