Flipkart GRiD 4.0 – Software Development Challenge 2022: GRiD is Flipkart’s Flagship Engineering Campus Challenge which provides you with the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and skills, to compete and complete key challenges. Now in its fourth edition, Flipkart GRiD becomes bigger & better, bringing real-world problem statements from the world of E-Commerce to the brightest engineering minds across the globe! The detailed eligibility, application process and registration process are given below:
This competition is open to students pursuing B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/ or related Engineering Programs across ALL Engineering Colleges in India & US (Batch 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026)
Students must register in teams of 2 to 3 members
The batch of 2022 is not eligible to participate in this competition
The participating students can be from any specialization
They should be full-time students from the same engineering college
One person cannot be a member of more than one team
Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team
Flipkart GRiD 4.0 – Software Development Challenge: Stages and Timelines
Level 1: E-Commerce & Tech Quiz
Every team will get a set of questions to be answered within 30 minutes. It will be based on E-Commerce Trivia (Reference: https://stories.flipkart.com) and Tech (Technology Awareness + Techstack & Computer Science Fundamentals).

Level 2: Submission of Proof of Concept with Demo Video and Code Submission
Qualifying teams from Level 1 will work on the Idea Submission and will develop an Idea Brief along with a video. They will be able to make submissions until the deadline for this round anytime during the challenge window.

Level 3: The National Finale
In the final level of the GRiD, finalists will be invited to showcase their solutions to the panel of domain experts at flipkart.

Epiroc Off campus drive 2022 for Trainee Engineer of BE/B.Tech|2021/ 2022 Batch|Bangalore
Epiroc Off campus drive 2022: Epiroc Mining is inviting candidates from BE/B.Tech 2021/ 2022 batch for its hiring process. Bachelors from BE / B.Tech can apply for their off campus placement. Candidates will be hired as Management Trainee and after initial training period of 6 month they we will designated as Design Engineer with Epiroc. Work on concept design of Heavy Engineering products – Structures/Power train/Layout desigwith necessary guidance from senior colleagues.
Work on 2D & 3D Modelling packages (Creo/Inventor/AutoCAD) for design & manufacturing drawings preparation.
Work on PLM systems associated with engineering release processes & systems.
Apply knowledge of Strength of materials & Material science to work on basic engineering calculations and material selection.
Apply basic knowledge of manufacturing processes for drawing preparation.
Following the design procedures, instructions and standards.
Develop Basic Knowledge on Hydraulics & 3D Modelling packages during training and work on Routed systems.

Design the software system, describing the specifications in technical terms:
