They all belong to Jain families, and founded the company in February 1942. During World War II and the Quit India Movement of 1942, a temporary ban on paint imports left only foreign companies and Shalimar Paints in the market.

Eligibility Criteria for Asian Paints Off Campus Drive 2022:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation from top ranked engineering institution of India
- 50% & above marks in Academics all over (10th /12th /Graduation)
- Knowledge in Maintenance of pumps , heat exchangers , Motors ; Measurement techniques & calibration.
- Basic engineering such as Alignment , Vibration measurement , P&ID , Preparation of BOM ,Cost

- Adherence to Annual Maintenance Contract, Preventive & predictive maintenance Schedule, Statutory Schedule, Calibration Schedule
- Shutdown Planning
- Management of Spares
- Development of New vendors
- Adherence to Purchase process
- Development of solution for energy saving , Improvement of Productivity , reduce fatigue etc
- Planning and execution of Projects in time
