What is Jumpstart?
Jumpstart is the most awaited engineering event of the year brought to you by Publicis Sapient. It’s where the brightest and the most diverse engineering talent from all over the country come together. This event is curated to allow you a peek into the Next in engineering and technology. To earn direct access to this event, you must crack the Hackathon challenge first.
At Jumpstart, you will hobnob with tech leaders and experts who’ve been creating impact for businesses for years. Get a first-hand experience of real-world engineering, and take the first step towards a career where you will learn, grow and thrive. Jumpstart will equip you to make the brave transition from college to corporate life.
Publicis Sapient’s Jumpstart is open to all B.Tech./B.E./Dual-Degree 3rd and 4th-year students (Passing out in 2023 and 2024) with a minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs.
Rules:
Jumpstart is open to all B.Tech./B.E./Dual-Degree 3rd and 4th-year students (Passing out in 2023 and 2024).
The participating students can be from any specialization/domain.
There is no restriction on the number of participants from an institute.
Modification of details post-registration closure will not be allowed.
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited during the online coding challenge. Any cases of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification of the concerned candidates.
Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the individual.
Competition Structure:
Round 1: Preliminary Round (MCQ Challenge)
Eligible participants, after registering for the Challenge, will undergo an MCQ challenge. Based on their test scores, participants will be shortlisted to proceed to the next stage.
You’ll be notified via email regarding the details of the MCQ challenge.
You have to answer 30 questions in 30 minutes.
You can take the test within 8 hours of opening of the Quiz Window.
Round 2: Coding Challenge
Shortlisted participants will undergo an online coding challenge where they will be tested on their basic coding skills. Based on their test scores, participants will be shortlisted to proceed to the next stage.
You’ll be notified via email regarding the details of the coding challenge.
The assessment will be of 90 minutes to be taken in one sitting.
Evaluation criteria would include but are not limited to, the test score, time taken to complete the test, the quality of your code, resume, etc.

Cisco Internship drive 2022: Cisco is hiring Software Engineer Intern for Bangalore. Candidates from B.Tech/BE/ME/M.Tech 2023/2024 batch are eligible for the position. Interested and eligible candidates need to apply as soon as possible before the apply date. The detailed eligibility, application process and registration process are given below:
Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering with an aptitude for learning new technologies.
Fundamentals of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, concepts of routing, switching.
Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages like python.
Solid fundamentals of object-oriented design and programming.
Ability to think towards scaling applications to the cloud.
Strong testing inclination to ensure programs are comprehensive and well tested f or all use cases.
Hands on exposure to open source, mobile application development will be a big plus.
Exposure to debugging application programs along with development and debugging tools.
Familiar with more than one development environment, well-versed with at least one.
Interest in User experience and User interface design and development.
Qualification and Skills required for Cisco Internship
A recent graduate in their final year of studies towards a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or related majors.
A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 7 is required
The requirement is for 2023 graduates only who are available for 2 months of internship starting May or June
Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering with an aptitude for learning new technologies
Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages
Possess creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills
Experience in establishing and sustaining excellent relationships with the extended team

Data Engineer
Qualification Required:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science or Information Science (2023/2024 batch)
CGPA of 8.0 (out of 10) and above
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be fluent in English.
Savvy problem-solving instincts and abilities
Comfortable in fast-paced and multidimensional environments
Ability to work efficiently as part of a collaborative team
Diligent to detail
Proficient in software development with a focus in data / data systems (Java, C/C++), databases (SQL, Postgres, Mongo) and development technologies (GIT, JIRA)
Possesses knowledge of data pipelining, data integration, data warehouses, and databases
