Job Description:

Provide technical support and advice to customers and partners regarding implementation, customization, deployment, and optimization of our PLM applications (Windchill PDMLink®, Windchill ProjectLink® etc.) Utilize PTC’s case management tool to log issues, track associated status and related activities.  The goal is to meet the high demands of our end customers who use PTC PLM solutions in a mission-critical environment. To do so, you provide high-quality support service to our customers and partners, minimizing their efforts, eliminating risks, and with best support experience. Use of your technical and industry-specific IT knowledge to provide extended support activities (technical trainings, webinars, mentoring etc.) Create and publish knowledge articles for re-use by PTC customers and employees. Candidate must demonstrate a willingness to be proactive as well as to independently take on new challenges. Identify and recommend product and support training opportunities for the team.

Technical Skills:

A strong capacity and desire to develop personalized customer service and communication skills. The candidate is expected to understand and relate to customers’ needs while effectively managing customer expectations.  A strong background in technical and customer support is desired. The ability to effectively manage multiple urgent issues in parallel. The confidence, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage and direct customers during urgent and/or critical situations. The desire to learn new skills, coach, mentor, and train peers throughout the organization. The ability to work with teammates in a collaborative manner to achieve a mission. Presentation skills to prepare and present to large or small groups on technical and functional topics.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong experience on implementing or supporting Client-Server architecture or Multi-tier applications including practical knowledge of core components such as Databases, Networking and Operating Systems. Exposure to functional or hands on knowledge on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or vCloud etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve analytical problems with maintaining effective and precise investigation, documentation for issues, defects, and customer use cases. Object-Oriented programming background preferably in Java. An understanding of web and web services development including use of RESTful API’s, HTML and XML is preferred.
  • Able to produce audience-appropriate technical communications with management, support personnel, and the customers.
  • 0-2 years experience with practical knowledge in a related support, services field that comprises of technical and soft skills.

Role Overview:

Office of CTO Business unit is looking for a C++ developer to work on cutting edge Malware client product. In this position, you will be responsible for developing machine learning, deep learning and Heuristic based software solutions for Malware analysis and detection. The Client product is cloud assisted and has its own query protocol. The client software has multimillion deployments with huge consumer base and is working on cutting edge malware analysis tools/algorithms.

This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the role:

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Implement new software features for Malware detections ensuring highest quality standards and engineering practices,
  • Ensure process compliance and proactively interact and collaborate as well as support your existing features and improve every day,
  • Innovate to develop new mechanisms to detect malwares and protect McAfee customers
  • You should be highly proficient in C++ coding and debugging skills and should possess adequate knowledge of windows user mode programming and internals, and multithreading. Additional qualifications include: -Good understanding of Software architecture and design patterns, Operating System fundamentals, Strong at Data structures, good stakeholder management.

About You:

Other Criteria

  • Open school or distance education is allowed for 10th & 12th only
  • One Backlog is allowed at the time of the Assessment Stage
  • Candidates are expected to clear the backlogs along with the 6th semester.
  • Mandatory to have studied Core Mathematics as one subject in Graduation.
  • Business Maths & Applied Maths will NOT be considered as Core Mathematics in Graduation.
  • Max 3 years of GAP in education allowed (between 10th to commencement of graduation)
  • No Gaps are allowed in Graduation. Graduation should be completed within 3 years from the start of graduation.
  • Should be an Indian Citizen or should hold a PIO or OCI card, in the event of holding a passport of any other country.
  • Bhutan and Nepal Nationals need to submit their citizenship certificate.
  • Candidates will be invited for the test process, who have completed 3 months cool-off period from the previous assessment
  • Admission to M. Tech degree will be subjected to the prevailing criteria and conditions as defined by the UGC Guidelines at the time of enrollment

Stipend Details

Period: (INR Per Month)

1st Year STIPEND: 15,000 + 488 (ESI) + Joining Bonus of 75k

2nd Year STIPEND: 17,000 + 533 (ESI)

3rd Year STIPEND: 19,000 + 618 (ESI)

Fourth Year: 23,000

Post the completion of the program, the designation will be Senior Project Engineer and compensation will range from INR 6,00,000 P.A onwards depending on performance.

Selection process

Every eligible candidate must go through an online assessment, the below details are appended for your reference.

Round 1 – Online Assessment

Online Assessment (80 minutes) comprising of 4 sections:

  • Verbal- 20 mins- 20 questions
  • Analytical-20 mins-20 questions
  • Quantitative – 20 Mins – 20 questions
  • Written Communication Test (20 mins)

Round 2 – Business discussion

 Service Agreement

On joining, candidates would be required to sign a service agreement for 60 months

After clearing the online assessment, candidates will have to go through a business discussion round.

Wipro will inform candidates about the results of the recruitment by individual e-mails or other means of communication provided by individual candidates.
