Educational Qualification:

→ B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg (4 years) course from AICTE approved Institute / University in the relevant disciplines of Engineering 55% and above in the
indicated qualification for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC, ST and PwBD candidates.

Trainee Engineers- I: Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering discipline

Project Engineers – 1: Electronics / Mechanical Engineering discipline

Experience:

→ Minimum 1 Year post-qualification relevant industry experience / Apprenticeship is mandatory to apply for the post of Trainee Engineer – I from the concerned discipline.

→ Apprenticeship from any PSU or Organization one year full time is considered as industrial experience so you can apply for Trainee Engineer posts

→ Minimum 2 Years of post-qualification relevant industry experience is mandatory to apply for the post of Project Engineer-1 from the concerned discipline.

Upper Age Limit:

→ Trainee Engineer – 28 years

→ Project Engineer – 32 years

Age Relaxation:

→ Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

→ Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe : 5 years

→ Persons with Disability (PWD) having minimum 40% disability : 10 years

Pay Scale:

The following are the pay scale of selected candidates for the BEL Project Engineer and Trainee Engineer positions.

BEL Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:

→ The selection will be done through Written Test followed by Interview of the eligible shortlisted candidates. The minimum qualifying marks required for suitability for different categories of candidates are as under:

→ The assessment weightage will be 85% and 15% for written test and interview respectively. Candidates who meet the stipulated eligibility criteria shall be called for the written test. Candidates will be called in the ratio of 1:5 (discipline-wise and category-wise) on the overall vacancies based on the performance in the written test.

Application Fee:

The application fee should be paid through SBI Collect (through online mode or through SBI Branch). Candidates belonging to PWD, SC and ST categories are exempted from payment of the application fee.
