About you:
You have a love of good code, and an instinct for clean design. A knowledge of software design principles and of at least one of the languages we use (Java, C, Python, or C#).
Eagerness to learn and switch between programming languages to best suit the job at hand.
A degree in computer science is preferred real-world programming experience to earn the respect of your colleagues.
Experience working with databases (relational or NoSQL).
Working proficiency in a Linux environment.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex system engineering problems.
Familiarity with iterative software development and rapid prototyping methodologies.
Good technical communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and succinctly in both writing and speech.
Note:
Duration of internship would be 6 months (Jan 2023- July 2023)
During the internship, the stipend would be ₹ 22,000 per month.
Only those candidates who are available to join McAfee from Jan-2023 as interns need to apply. Anybody who can NOT start as an intern, need not apply.
Above mentioned CTC of 11 LPA would be applicable only for full-time positions based on opportunities available upon successful completion of the internship. Fitment during the internship would be the criteria for consideration.

A team shall consist of 1-4 members, one of whom would be the team leader
All of the team members should be from the same institute
One student cannot be part of more than one team
Only full-time post-graduate and executive MBA students can participate in TUP 8.0
There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute
Ideas that are found to be plagiarized will be disqualified

Duties & Responsibilities
Develop,modify, support and maintain ownership of software modules used for product testing and qualification across the product development and manufacturing.
Develop moderately complex software in Python, C, and TCL/TK to extend and refine the capabilities of existing test systems across multiple manufacturing regions.
Must coordinate software development activities with various teams, including product development, manufacturing, marketing, quality, etc.
Perform electrical testing of multi-gigabit cable assemblies, analyze data, identify critical to quality aspects of product design and manufacturing process, perform root cause / corrective action analysis and write reports to summarize findings.
Create and execute test plans, conduct software reviews, perform system verification and validation, analyze and resolve failure modes and document results.
