Job Description :

We are looking for motivated data scientists with excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop, automate, and run analytical models of our systems. Academic and/or practical background in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or Process Control are particularly relevant for this position. Experience in the integration of model-based engineering tools and/or multidisciplinary analysis & optimization is also a plus.

Major Responsibilities

  • Use data analyses and statistical techniques to develop solutions to improve customer experience and to guide business decision making
  • Identify predictors and causes of business related problems and implement novel approaches related to forecasting and prediction
  • Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations
  • Collaborate with multiple teams as a leader of quantitative analysis and where you develop solutions that utilize the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity

Basic Qualifications

  • Record of delivering large analytical solutions with business impact

  • Academic experience in manipulating/transforming data, model selection, model training, cross-validation and deployment at scale.
  • Academic or Project Experience with Machine and Deep Learning toolkits such as MXNet, TensorFlow, Caffe and PyTorch.
  • Academic Experience with Big Data platforms like Apache Spark and Hadoop.
  • Familiarity with data processing with Python, R & SQL.
  • Familiarity with AWS services related to AI/ML highly desirable, particularly Amazon EMR, AWS Lambda, SageMaker, Machine Learning, IoT, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2 Container Service, Green Grass etc.

FICO off campus 2022 drive: Responsibilities

  • Work as part of scrum team, for product development work for upcoming releases.
  • Understanding requirements, user stories, create manual test cases and execute those once functionality is ready for testing.
  • Produce and execute test plans that exercise all aspects of the product.
  • Work with developers to produce automated tests and maintain them on a go-forward basis.
  • Work with developers to triage defects to assist with speedy resolution.
  • Ensure ticketing system updated with testing progress and identified defects.

Supports the day to day activities of the development and engineering team by coding, programming and capturing specifications for a defined project, using developing technical capabilities. To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
  • 0-1 year in an engineering role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms.
  • 0 -1-year functional knowledge of programming scripting and data science languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL, .NET, Java, PHP, Ruby, PERL, C++, R, etc.
  • 0-1-year CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management and automation tools such as GitHub, VSTS, Ansible, DSC, Puppet, Ambari, Chef, Salt, Jenkins, Maven, etc.
  • Knowledge with any of the following: Azure, O365, Azure Stack, Azure AD
  • Functional knowledge of Multi-system Integration using industry standards such as REST, API, JSON, SOAP, etc
  • Some relevant proven experience required, demonstrating working knowledge of relevant software infrastructure platforms (depending on specialism) and understanding of applicable standards​
  • Communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to contribute as a leading member of global, distributed teams passionate about delivering quality services and solutions
  • Encourage DevSecOps teams by building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary
