Eligibility Criteria for Eaton Off Campus Drive 2022:

• BE/ B.Tech or ME/ M.Tech in Mechanical/Production
• 0-1 yrs with ME/ M.Tech and 3-4 yrs with B.E/B.Tech ,in R&D &/or Mfg Processes
• Experience with Engg drawings ,CAD
• Proficient in structural and applied mechanics
• Basics of manufacturing processes & GD&T
• Good communication
• Collabrative working style
• Learning agility
• To design and engineer various standard valve actuation products like rockers arms, hydraulic lash adjustors & advanced VVA mechanism for Engine brakes, Late Intake Valve Closing (LIVC), Cylinder Deactivation (CDA) etc. for commercial vehicles ICE’s
• Conduct design feasibility studies, perform preliminary engineering calculations, design valvetrain components, coordinate with simulation teams (FEA, MBD, 1D simulation) to verify and improve design
• Create & release engineering drawings with relevant GD&T & stack up calculations
• Coordinate with cross functional teams like manufacturing, test lab, simulation etc. to mature the design and progress technical maturity
• Conduct design reviews, present technical studies and findings to Portfolio lead, technical lead, design review board & chief engineer of product line
• Conduct & drive manufacturing review (MFR) & and supplier feasibility review (DSFR) for prototype & production worthy prints. Facilitate and review manufacturing process capability & support PPAP submission
• Solve technical problems while working on new Pursuit Projects, NPI & VAVE projects with project team members working across the globe
