TPSC Recruitment 2022: The provision for constitution of Public Service Commission was first incorporated under Article 96C of the Government of India Act,1919. Thereafter in 1923 ‘Lee Commission’ was constituted for the purpose of formulating the principles/terms and conditions of Public Service Commission. Subsequently, as per recommendations of the ‘Lee Commission’ Federal Public Service Commission was established in India for the first time, on 1st October, 1926. Lee Commission also recommended for establishment of Provincial Public Service Commissions
Tripura got her statehood on 21st January,1972 and Tripura Public Service Commission was established on 30th October, 1972, under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India. Sri G.P.Bagchi was the first Chairman and Sri I. K. Roy was the first Member of the Tripura Public Service Commission. The Commission is, at present, located at the old Assembly House of Tripura, at Akhaura Road, Agartala

Eligibility Criteria for TPSC Recruitment 2022:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must complete 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum 35% of marks.
- Candidates must qualify Madhyamik examination with stenography course in ITI from a recognized Institute.
- Candidates should have typing knowledge of 40 w.p.m in English language on computer.
- Candidates must have knowledge in Bengali, English, Kokborok Language.
Age Limit: (As on 31-05-2022)
Candidate’s age must be minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as in case of General Candidates. Relaxation is provided to the reserved category candidates.
Selection Process for TPSC Recruitment 2022:
Candidates are selected based on their performance in the Preliminary Exam, Main Examination and interview.
Application Fee:
- Candidates have to pay the application fee through online mode.
- General candidates have to pay fee of Rs. 200/-. Reserved category candidates must pay fee of Rs. 150/- are exempted from the payment of application fee.
