Job Description:
At Axelerant, we are looking for Associate Software Engineers to join us as a part of the Axelerant Academy Program initiative for their first six months—and upon successful completion, an opportunity to work full-time with Axelerant
You will work alongside amazingly talented people who will mentor and train you to gain relevant knowledge, skills. Under the development team’s guidance, you will directly contribute by assisting withtasks on client projects to build robust and scalable web applications alongside the training program.
This program will bridge the gap between academic learning and current industry skills by providing guidance and support. The Axelerant Academy Program follows a flipped-classroom style, which enriches the learning experience by having you complete readings at home and work on live problems during class.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop software to meet requirements per the development team
- Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals, and accessing new applications
- Demonstrate a passion for high-quality software design and development skills to develop scalable web applications
- Proactive and thorough communication with team members
Job Requirements:-
- Be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal guidance
- Passion for the Web/Open-source development, and helping us contribute back to the respective community
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
- Awareness of server-side scripting languages like PHP/ Java and SQL
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS, SCSS and HTML 5
- A good sense of humor!
