Job Description:
The Data Protection Group drives the product strategy, roadmap, and engineering delivery of the Veritas products, which includes NetBackup, APTARE, Backup Exec, Enterprise Vault (EV), EV.cloud, eDiscovery platform, and Veritas SaaS Backup.

Job Requirements:-
- Selected candidate would be working on Backup and Storage Product QA Tasks
- Participate in various project discussions, Sprint Events, understanding epic work
- Participate in test planning and execution activities,
- Continuously improvising on tests, identify test gaps and come-up with ways to bridge those gaps
- Interact with various stake-holders like development teams, QA team members and documentation team to execute on product goals
- Possess a strong desire for quality and ‘test to break’ attitude
- Automation of regression test cases
Skills:-
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in Computer Science or equivalent streams
- Knowledge on Windows / Unix OS
- Basics of Storage Technology – NAS, SAN, Arrays, Filers, etc. will be added advantage
- Programming language is must. Knowledge of Python, Perl, Shell, etc. will be highly preferred.
- Experience working on automation project will be an added advantage
- Understanding of QA concepts like Black box testing, white box testing, regression testing, stress testing etc is preferred
- Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Attitude for passionately working for Software & Quality Engineering
- Detect, report, and track software defects
