POSOCO Recruitment 2022:

The Ministry of Power’s Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) is a completely owned government of India enterprise. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited had formerly owned it as a completely owned subsidiary (PGCIL). It was established in March 2010 to handle PGCIL’s power management tasks. It is in charge of ensuring the Grid’s integrated functioning is reliable, efficient, and secure. There are five Regional Load Despatch Centres and one National Load Despatch Centre in the system (NLDC).

On 3 January 2017, the subsidiary was spun off, leaving the parent business with simply the duty of laying up transmission lines. POSOCO has taken over the load despatch functions that were previously performed by PGCIL.

Eligibility Criteria for POSOCO Recruitment 2022:

Candidates must complete Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute.
Candidates with higher qualification and who have already undergone apprenticeship training are also not eligible.

Age limit:

Candidates age must be in between 18 to 28 years as on 05-01-2022. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.

Selection Process:

Candidates are selected based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
