Job Description:

If you’re ready to join Gojek as an Android Engineer, fasten your helmet and get aboard. You will be a key member of the Bangalore-based Transport team in this position. In the Gojek ride-hailing business, the transport team is the one who provides the customer trip experience. From displaying a map of nearby GoRide and GoCar drivers in the app to offering a seamless booking experience, being picked up by the driver at the correct pickup spot, enjoying a nice and safe journey, and being dropped off at the exact destination location, we’ve done it all.
You’ll construct a large-scale, high-performing Android app for Gojek in partnership with the product management, design, backend, and quality engineering teams, offering straightforward, easy-to-use services for our users. You’ll use your technical experience and clean coding abilities to provide real solutions and services based on your understanding of the overall mobile landscape and current user preferences and trends.

Job Responsibilities:-

• Build large-scale and high-performance services to develop simple, easy-to-use products for our unique end customers
• Design and develop a highly maintainable and reliable Android app
• Write clean and tested code, mostly in Kotlin for the Android native environment
• Coordinate with other teams (Product Management, UX/Design, Backend Engineering, and Quality Engineering teams) on building and managing the Android app
• Help in a constant exploration of new technology and tools
• Deliver solutions that bring a positive impact to low-income communities through up-to-date software technologies
