You will be responsible for and take pride in….
data.ai is looking for an experienced Insights Data Analyst supporting the Insights Team to join us. You will be part of the Global Marketing team, and wear our Customer Obsession hat with pride and are responsible for creating high quality insights for customers and thought leadership for the mobile industry.
Identify findings and trends within data.ai’s estimates by using SQL, Excel, or another
analytical program (Python, R studio) • Internalize and structure data related requirements and enquiries into data analysis and
reporting solutions that are customizable, scalable, and robust
Conceptualize, write and maintain data ETL scripts to generate custom insights and
analysis • Perform data cleaning and vertical categorization at scale to create custom categories for
a group of apps, data dictionary improvements and other data integrity checks • Identify weekly trends in the mobile industry and write concise and actionable insights
based on compelling data visualizations tailored to the Greater China Region
Support PR, Sales and Marketing needs by analyzing mobile data and reporting on
trends in charts and written blogs
Support go-to-market strategy for the insights team including collating data on team
operations and impact of assets created and supporting staging blogs and briefing designers on report assets
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer
Science or Business
Experience in querying and manipulating volumes of data sets from a data warehouse
for analytical purposes using SQL languages, Python, R, etc. • Strong analytical, quantitative and research skills and the ability and desire to
understand and integrate data into a compelling story with business insights to customers, prospects, and tech press
Thrive working hands-on with large volumes of varied data with the curiosity to dive in
and discover what is driving the trends in the app, mobile, and tech space
Resourcefulness to find relevant and credible external information on your own • Managed overlapping projects and deadlines across time zones and take real ownership
of your work with dedication to relevant detail, timelines and accuracy
Strong writing skills and ability to craft a story
Fully fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Mandarin.
