Job description:
This position provides technical support to our award-winning K-12 software systems both under the general guidance of the supervisor and manager. This is a global solution-oriented technical support focused on customer service to maximum customer satisfaction. In order to properly analyse, solve problems, diagnose and solve softwares or systems-related problems, the employee has to be expert in all aspects of application software functionality. This position interacts with customers through telephone communication and written on the Internet.
Job Responsibilities:-
- Answers, evaluates and prioritises incoming calls to support users with hardware, software, networking and other computer-based technologies for telephone, Email and chat
- Recognizes problems, investigates, resolutions and monitors customers when required, increasing complex issues for the appropriate team
- Logs and tracks calls using the problem database and keeps records of history and related problem documentation
- Prepare standard statistical reports like incident reports for help desks
- Consult programmers to explain software errors or to recommend programme modifications
- May test software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and whether product will aid user in performing work
- All other duties as assigned
