Paypal off campus 2023 drive: Responsibilities
- Collaborating with cross functional teams, platform architecture, data governance and product team
- Contribute to design and develop the logical and physical data model for Pricing Insights Data platform
- Develop large scale and distributed fault tolerant enterprise applications using Hadoop and related open-source Big Data Technologies such as Spark, Spark Streaming, Hive, HBase, YARN, etc
- Translate product requirement into functional/business logic
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, internal testing sign off for deliverables
- Building high throughput event driven streaming data pipeline
Qualification and Skills Required for Paypal hiring
- Must currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s , Dual Degree or Integrated Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university graduating
- Strong applied experience. You’ve built, broken, and rebuilt software applications. We’re looking for creative thinkers with a curious mindset who are keen to learn and create real-world products.
- Working knowledge of web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX)
- Familiarity with any or multiple of the following: Node.js applications, Java, C++. Python
- Understanding of concepts like Web Services, SOA, REST APIs
- A constant desire to grow, learn, and explore new things
