Responsibilities as a Gartner Intern
You will working as an intern and and performing following role and responsibilities
- Support the Marketing and Sales Analytics teams within Gartner Conferences Business
- Execute analytics project (descriptive and predictive) to help answer critical commercial questions like marketing effectiveness, sales effectiveness
- Develop comprehensive, context-rich analyses to support projects and initiatives
- Design dashboards utilizing Power BI platform
- Gather, analyze and document reporting requirements
- Leverage a variety of data sources to create strategic insights via analyses, help define KPIs and targets in partnership with key stakeholders, and support building of a reporting/ recommendation engine to monitor performance against those KPIs
Qualifications Required for Gartner Internship
- Current pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics or related field
- Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited degree in a Business, Computer Science, Operations related discipline
- 0-24 months of experience of working in a professional organization
- Data-driven, fact-driven, problem-solving, and analytical mindset
- Experienced in Microsoft SQL Server and any object-oriented programming language (R, Python or any other)
- Familiar with the foundational approaches to the major data science disciplines, such as data preparation, advanced statistics, and machine learning
- Useful resume writing tips for freshers
Skills Required for Gartner Internship hiring
- Experience with visualization tools (Power BI or others) preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate results from the data to business teams using reporting and presentation tools
- Strong ability to condense complex analysis into clear and concise takeaways that drive action
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Understanding in writing SQL code
- Knowledge of maintaining data documentation.
