Eligibility Criteria for Ciena Off Campus Drive 2023:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Bachelor of Computer Applications/ Master of Computer Applications
- 0-2 year of professional software development experience
- Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
- Familiar with building complex web applications using Angular, Java and Spring, Kafka
- Experience with designing highly interactive web applications with performance, scalability, accessibility, usability, design, and security in mind
- Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, test driven development
- Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational and Graph databases
- Ability to work in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of Scala, Python programming language is a plus
- Knowledge of development tools such as Git, Jira, Bitbucket
- Familiarity with CI frameworks such as Jenkins, Grafana, Docker, Kubernetes
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Mentoring and support both within in the immediate team and in the wider Blue Planet organisation
- Independent working with strong collaboration within a global team
- Attending calls, presenting work, discussion with project stakeholders
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform
- Design, develop and execute software solutions to address business issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
