Job Description:-
The Data Lifecycle Management Team aims to build a single unified platform to perform various data lifecycle operations, like legal-hold-retention, time-based-deletion, backup, archival, encryption, etc.
Our platform is designed from the ground-up to handle different data-stores, and caters to various compliance and cost-efficiency objectives.
Powered with a unified monitoring solution, we are on a mission to make the unified platform a reality for all data lifecycle scenarios and data-stores @ Uber scale.
Job Responsibilities:
- Experience managing production systems with a strong availability SLA.
- Design end-to-end features and systems to implement production-quality services.
- Write code, test and maintain production services for high availability, reliability and performance.
- Collaborate and consult with multiple engineering teams and other functional stakeholders from Legal, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Risk and IT for integration into our platform.
- Ensure that identified security issues are prioritised and addressed in an appropriate time frame
