Job Description:
As R&D Support Engineer you shall be working in the R&D and Support department, which is responsible for the electrical design and integration of PowerStore and Automation product portfolio relevant to Grid Edge Solutions
Job Responsibilities:
- You shall provide PCS technical support (HW and SW) during the complete lifecycle of a project.
- You shall provide technical support (L3-L4, includes 24/7 support) for internal and external customers during operation having SLAs with us.
- Coordinating with local / regional technical support resources to clarify and support in solving technical issues
- Ensuring a positive customer experience by giving them regular updates and clarification
- Providing product technical training to internal and external customers and partners
- Being responsible for final updated documentation
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum two years of Power Conversion System & Control system installation and commissioning
- Knowledge on industrial communication protocols like IEC61850, IEC60870-101/104, Modbus, DNP3.0, Profibus;
- Good knowledge about Control (PLC, Tus, etc.), Communications and PCS products
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong customer focus awareness, problem solving and consultation skills
- Good English communication skills
- Self-motivated, independent, organized and structured way of working.
- Availability to travel globally up to 50% of the time
