- Bachelor degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Maths, Physics, Computer Science);
Job Description:
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
Job Responsibilities:-
- Responsible for performing static data update in systems for various asset classes like Options, Futures, Straight Bonds, Convertible Bonds, Equity Linked Notes, Commercial Paper, Certificate of Deposits, Municipal Bonds, Government Bonds, GILTS, Common Stock, Preference Stock, Swaps, Index Options etc. and various other asset classes
Requirements:
- Hands on experience on usage of vendor systems like Bloomberg, Reuters & DataStream
- Understanding client requirement for setup of various securities on system, updating various price quotes and corporate action details on application.
- Reading and understanding procedure documents and strictly adheres to procedures when handling static data requests.
- Escalate key issues to the relevant people, be able to meet deadlines and attain agreed standards within the area of responsibility as outlined in their performance contract, work proactively with onshore teams.
- The candidate will assist the team manager in defining and implementing new processes and will be proactive in driving efficiencies across the business.
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skill.
