Eligibility Criteria for Amazon Pay Off Campus Drive 2022:
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 0-3 years software development experience
- Alternatively (no degree) minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and data structures
- Solid problem solving skills
Job Description:
The Amazon Pay team is looking for Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to help drive the development of new features, functionality, and capabilities.
If you’re an engineer who is looking to grow, come on board, we have 1 Principal Engineer and 4 SDE3s at the top end of a team of about 25 engineers – and they are all eager to mentor and grow you! And look up our ticket load; we passionately believe in keeping our Sev 2 load low, slowing down feature development if needed in order to address problems in our ever-growing fleet.
Job Responsibilities:-
As an SDE in the Amazon Pay team, you will :
- Work on Tier-1 Services that for the core of Amazon Pay transaction processing
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and software quality needs.
- Solve complex problems and innovate to deliver on commitments.
- Drive innovative ideas and process improvements in operational excellence
- Help to mentor interns
- Own the delivery of a piece of a system or application with right quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency developing in at least one if the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, C# or Python
- Linux / UNIX system experience
- Knowledge of database system internals
- Proficiency in object-oriented design
- Hands-on experience with AWS APIs and services
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science
