Job Description: This is the intermediate level job. Performs routine tasks associated with the design, modification, development, writing and implementing software programming applications. Applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to support and/or install software applications/operating systems. Work is overseen by leader to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Resolves routine questions or problems, referring only complex issues to a higher level. All work performed is thoroughly reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.
Requirements:
- Proficient in C# (including language features LINQ, multithreading with Tasks and Async etc.)
- Programming for the Dot Net platform with an understanding of Dot Net specific concepts
- Experience using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) with GUI design skills
- Experience using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- Basic Microsoft SQL Server Administration
- Familiarity with software design patterns (MVVM, Dependency Injection, Inversion of Control, etc.)
- Proficient with Visual Studio 2017 and above in a Azure DevOps environment
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Excellent programming and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal, writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Well organized with ability to expedite multiple simultaneous projects
