Eligibility Criteria for Ciena Off Campus Drive 2023:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Bachelor of Computer Applications/ Master of Computer Applications
• 0-2 year of professional software development experience
• Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
• Familiar with building complex web applications using Angular, Java and Spring, Kafka
• Experience with designing highly interactive web applications with performance, scalability, accessibility, usability, design, and security in mind
• Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, test driven development
• Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational and Graph databases
• Ability to work in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of Scala, Python programming language is a plus
• Knowledge of development tools such as Git, Jira, Bitbucket
• Familiarity with CI frameworks such as Jenkins, Grafana, Docker, Kubernetes
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Mentoring and support both within in the immediate team and in the wider Blue Planet organisation
• Independent working with strong collaboration within a global team
• Attending calls, presenting work, discussion with project stakeholders
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform
• Design, develop and execute software solutions to address business issues
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
