Job Description:

• The strategic planning and design of telecom infrastructure and/or network components is your responsibility.
• Analyzes present and future network requirements for short- and long-term network capacity needs.
• This covers technology and network planning at several layers, as well as the introduction of new technologies into the network in order to provide new services and/or improve network efficiency.
• Systems engineering for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems, as well as network design and technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems.
• Prior to handing over to the Service Operations team, performs integration with existing systems and service validation. IP routers, switches, fibre optic connections, microwave wireless transmission, 2G/3G/4G, DSL, and radio frequency systems, among other things.
• The role collaborates with LOBs and the Products Team to gain a better understanding of market forecasts and trends, as well as relevant teams and vendors to discuss solutions, cost estimates, and CAPEX optimization initiatives.
