Eligibility Criteria

  • Indian citizens below 21 years are allowed to apply for MP PET 2020. A relaxation up to 5 years is given for those applying against SC/ST/PwD Quotas.
  • The applicants must have cleared his/her 12th grade with 55%. However, those applying against the abovementioned quotas can have achieved 50%. The 10+2 Examination must have been completed from any recognized Board in India. The subjects studied must have been Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Appearing in JEE (Main) 2020 is compulsory for applying for MP PET 2020.

Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) is the state-level entrance examination being conducted for admission to first year of undergraduate programs leading to a bachelor’s degree in different disciplines of engineering (B.Tech. and B.E.) in various government-aided and private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other deemed private universities). Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are fulfilling the following eligibility criteria are eligible for the RPET 2020 examination:

  • Aspirant must be the domicile bearer of Rajasthan. He/she must have a valid domicile of Rajasthan as a proof of his/her residence.
  • Coming to the age criteria, the GEN/OBC candidates must possess age on or after 1 October, 1992 while the candidates of reserved category (SC/ST) should have the age on or after October 1, 1987.
  • The candidates must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from the recognized board with an aggregate percentage of 45%. For reserved category, 40% will also be acceptable.
  • The candidate who is appearing for RPET 2020 should have Physics, Math’s and other optional subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science in 12th

TNEA 2020 Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) exam conduct by the Anna University for the admission in various constituents and associated colleges of Tamil Nadu. The candidates who fulfill all the eligibility conditions are able to pursue full-time undergraduate engineering courses from the associated colleges of Tamil Nadu. The admissions will be done only through the TNEA counselling conducted after the publication of the merit list. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) is the process through which more than 1.5 lakh engineering aspirants get themselves enrolled into engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu through single window counselling.

Eligibility Criteria

– Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions given below as on the last date of submission of application are eligible to apply. Passing the qualifying examination after the last date of submission of application shall not be considered.

– Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed VIII to XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. They need not enclose Nativity Certificate.

– Tamil Nadu native candidates who have passed any of the VIII to XII Std. or their equivalent examination from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should enclose a copy of Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate.

– Children of Central Government Employees may also apply for admission, irrespective of their native, provided their parents or guardians have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past FIVE YEARS at the time of submission of application.

– Sons and daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply.

– Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. They need not enclose “Nativity Certificate”.

– Srilankan Tamil Refugee studied in Tamil Nadu will be considered under open competition. They have to enclose the following:
(i) Identification certificate from the Head Quarters Tahsildar.
(ii) Those who have not registered in the refugee camp should submit a copy of passport, visa and letter registered with Police Station.

Reservation Criteria

– Since the special reservation applications are processed by separate committees, candidates are instructed to enclose separate special reservation form along with the main online application. They should also enclose a DD for Rs. 100/- for each special reservation along with appropriate certificates. If appropriate certificates or supporting documents for special reservation claim are not enclosed with the Special reservation form, their claim under such categories will not be considered.

Candidates seeking admission against special reservation of seats under Item No. 22, Code No. 1 for Eminent Sports Person should submit the main online application, the special reservation form for Sports and a Demand draft for Rs.100/- and copies of the relevant certificates in person to the Secretary TNEA as per Annexure II which also contains the selection procedure. Such applications received by Post / Courier will be rejected under Sports Quota.

Only Tamilnadu Native candidates are eligible for Special reservation.

How to Apply

The candidates shall register applications only through internet by logging on to https://www.annauniv.edu The procedure for Registration is available in the web portal.

– Candidates have to submit the online application either in person or by post along with photocopies of Mark Sheet(s), Proof of Age and copies of all other relevant certificates to the Secretary, TNEA, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025 within 10 days from the publication of HSC results.
The candidates can pay the registration fee either through online payment mode or by a demand draft.

– Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary (TNEA), Anna University” payable at Chennai.

– Online application with concessional fee submitted by the candidates other than SC/SCA/ST will be summarily rejecte

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board was formed in the year 1962 for the purpose of holding Common Entrance Examinations for admission to the Undergraduate Level Engineering Courses in the State of West Bengal. Eligibility Criteria

If after examination or admission, or during any stage thereof it is found on scrutiny that an applicant is under age or otherwise ineligible, his/her application for admission will be cancelled outright even if he/she appeared in WBJEEM and secured a position in the Merit List. Permission to appear in WBJEEM or securing a rank in the Merit List on the basis of the performance in the said examination does not constitute a right/
guarantee in favour of the candidate for his/her admission to any Engg/Tech, Pharmacy, Architecture, Medical or Dental course unless he/she fulfils all applicable criteria as described below.

Citizenship:

Applicant must be a citizen of India.

Engineering / Technology (other than Marine Engineering), Pharmacy and Architecture Courses:

Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age as on 31.12.2020. There is no upper age limit.

Marine Engineering course:

Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age as on 31.12.2020 and must not be above 25 (twenty-five) years of age as on 31.07.2019.

Medical/Dental Courses:

Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age as on 31.12.2020. There is no upper age limit.

For Engineering/Technology courses other than Marine Engineering:

Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognised Council/ Board in a regular class mode with:

a) Individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and

b) Minimum of 60% marks in the above subjects taken together (55% for SC/ST/ PwD/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.

For Marine Engineering:

As per the norms and standards of the Director General of Shipping, Gov. of India:
Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognised Council/Board in regular class mode with:
a) 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics took together with individual pass marks in the said subjects
b) Minimum of 50% marks in English as a subject in either in ‘10’ or in ‘10+2’ standard.

Architecture Course:

Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream in regular class mode of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognised Council/ Board with:

a) Individual pass mark in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

b) Minimum of 60% marks in above subjects taken together (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) having 60% marks in Mathematics (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.

c) Candidate must qualify either in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi or in Paper 2 of JEE Mains conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education.

Architecture Course:

Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream in regular class mode of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognised Council/ Board with:
a) Individual pass mark in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
b) Minimum of 60% marks in above subjects taken together (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) having 60% marks in Mathematics (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.

Medical / Dental Courses:

Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination recognised by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences in regular mode with:
– Individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
– Minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences took together (40% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates, 45% for PWD candidates) and 30% marks in English (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.

How to Apply

Application has to be filled up ONLINE at the portal http://www.wbjeeb.nic.in.

The candidate needs to visit the portal and CLICK the link and thereafter will be directed to the actual application form. The form is interactive in nature. As soon as the cursor is pointed to a certain field, a cursor tip message will be shown to the candidate to assist in filling up. In the case of difficulty, the HELP icon placed right next to the field will redirect the candidate to that section of the Brochure which deals with filling up of the said field. Further, please see Appendix – III & XII for detailed guidelines for online form filling. The fields super-scribed with * MUST be filled up as they are MANDATORY, otherwise, the application will NOT get submitted. There are four steps in application form submission.

Online filling of application form:

Candidates will be required to fill their personal details. After filling all details and successful submission, an Application number will be generated for the candidate’s future reference. During form filling, the candidate is also required to choose a PASSWORD and a security question and answer. The candidate has to remember this question-answer pair for prompt retrieval of the password in case it is forgotten at a later stage. The candidate will need the above Application No. and Password for all subsequent login.

Please note that the applicant name, father’s name, mother’s name, domicile and date of birth taken together must be unique for each application. Once an Application Number is generated and the password is chosen, the candidates may log out or continue to upload documents.

Application Fee

The candidate will be directed to the page of fee payment and will have following two options:

Payment by Debit/Credit card:

The candidate has to select Debit / Credit Card option to pay the fee and follow the instruction to complete the payment process. After successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the “Confirmation Page”.

Payment by Allahabad Bank Challan:

The candidate has to select Allahabad Bank Challan mode to deposit the fee. As soon as he/she selects the option, a challan will be generated containing specific details of the candidate along with amount (in Rs.) to be paid. The candidate has to take a printout of the same and logout. He/she has to take it to any core banking service (CBS) facility enabled Branch of the Allahabad Bank for making payment. Types of Examinees

Types of examinees: The “WBJEEM” examination will be conducted for 3 (three) types of examinees as listed below. Candidate needs to choose the type during online application.

Note 1: Candidates not domiciled in West Bengal are not eligible for medical/dental courses.
They can register only as ‘E’ type candidate. They have to sit for Mathematics and Physics + Chemistry in order to get rank in Engineering/Technology. They may opt to sit only for Physics + Chemistry in order to get admission to Pharmacy colleges other than in Jadavpur University.

Note 2: For admission to Pharmacy course: Jadavpur University: Candidates have to appear for
Mathematics along with Physics & Chemistry as “E” or “C”.

Note 3: Candidates appearing only in Physics + Chemistry under any type E or M or C will be eligible only for pharmacy course other than in Jadavpur University.

Note 4: Three separate merit lists will be published namely, (i) Engineering (ii) Medical and (iii) Pharmacy.

Question Pattern

Exam Pattern will be based on the syllabus for WBJEEM. In every subject, all questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type, with four options against each of the questions. Questions will be of three categories as per following table.

Questions are to be answered on specially designed machine readable answer sheets (OMR Answer Sheet). ANSWERS ARE TO BE MARKED (BUBBLED) USING ONLY BLUE/BLACK BALL POINT PEN ON THE OMR ANSWER SHEET.

Scoring Pattern

Question Category 1

– Only one option is correct.
– Correct option will yield 1 (one) mark
– The incorrect option will yield -¼ (negative ¼) marks.
– For any combination of more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -¼ (negative ¼) marks.

Question Category 2

– Only one option is correct.
– The correct option will yield 2 (two) mark.
– The incorrect option will yield -½ (negative ½) marks.
– For any combination of more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -½ (negative ½) marks.

Question Category 3

– One or more options are correct.
– Marking all correct options only will yield 2 (two) marks.
– For any combination of answers containing one or more incorrect options, the said
answer will be treated as incorrect and it will yield zero (0) mark. 7.3.4. For partially correct answers, i.e. when all correct options are not marked and also no incorrect options is marked, marks awarded = 2 X (no of correct options marked) / (total no of actually correct options)

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

– Admit card download from WBJEEB website.
– The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.
– The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes.

Cutoff

Candidates have who score more than cut off Marks would feature in the merit list. Candidates names included in the merit list will be called for counselling rounds. Candidates can check previous years cut off marks to get an idea of Cut off for the current year as cut-off will be declared after the declaration of Result. The candidates other than General category are also getting some benefits because of their category. According to officials report, the minimum WBJEE Cut Off Marks category wise is given below-

– General- 50%
– SC/ST/OBC-A, OBC- B- 40%
– PwD- 45%.

Answer Key

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) declare the answer key for WBJEEM exam. Candidates can check their answers by subject wise in the official website. If there any complaints in the marks the candidates send their doubts before the last date.

Results

Results will be available in the website of the Board, and some other websites which will be announced in various electronic/print media before the declaration of results.

Counselling

The WBJEEM counselling process includes document verification, option entry, publishing of seat matrix, selection, seat allotment, fee payment and reporting to allotted college. Through counselling, the eligible candidates will be granted admission to various colleges and Institutes of the West Bengal State.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) on Wednesday started online counselling of WBJEE 2020 on its official website.

Candidates who have qualified in the West Bengal joint entrance examination can now apply for the e-counselling online at wbjeeb.nic.in on or before August 25, 2020.

This year, 73,119 students appeared for the exam out of which 72,298 were ranked. Out of the 72K students who were ranked, 55154 are male and 17144 are female students.

TS EAMCET Exam 2020-2021 Dates, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria

The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance (TS EAMCET) 2020 is being conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University / Private Colleges in the state of Telangana.

This continuous pursuit to gradually make EAMCET examination a paper-free examination has been highly appreciated by all sections of people and JNTUH takes the pride of becoming a trend setter for other common Entrance Tests in the state of Telangana by introducing the online mode of Application form submission through Internet since a couple of years. In addition, a provision to modify certain fields by the candidates themselves is also incorporated in TS EAMCET 2020. To give more transparency, in the year 2014, OMR Answer Sheets of all the candidates who have appeared for the entrance test were hosted in the website at the time of declaration of Ranks. The same was continued in the year 2015 as well, which received immense appreciation and testimonials from all sections of the people.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS EAMCET:

a) Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

b) Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local / non – local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

For MBBS / BDS Courses

(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe & Backward Classes, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology.

(ii) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Criteria for Ranking:

The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in TS EAMCET and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in TS EAMCET and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

For Engineering, Bio- Technology Courses

For Engineering, Bio- Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy, B.Tech (Food Science and Technology (FST) /B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Mgt. (CA & BM)) Courses:

(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, provided that candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the BioTechnology course. (OR)

Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / A.P.

(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2 pattern.

(iii) In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

(iv) In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.

BAMS / BHMS / BNYS Courses

– Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional which shall include a practical test in each subject.

– Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

– There is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS/BHMS/BNYS.

For B.Pharmacy Course

(Remaining 50% of the seats)

– Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optional, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.

– Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.

– Candidates should have completed 16 years of Age by the date of commencement of Admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee. There is no upper age limit.

Pharm – D Courses

For Pharm –D Course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates):
– Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training.

– Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.

– Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

Criteria for Admissions

i. As per G.O. Ms. No. 181 dated 21-05-2008 of Health Medical and Family Welfare (E1) Department for admission into MBBS /BDS courses on the basis of Competitive entrance examination, a candidate for admission to those courses must have obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and TS EAMCET examination,. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC must have obtained not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and TS EAMCET examination.

ii. As per the Gazette of India : Extraordinary under Part-III Rule No. 7(2) for admission into B.V.Sc. & AH Courses on the basis of competitive entrance examination, a candidate under General Category for admission to this course must have obtained 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belongs to the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe or other special category of student as specified by the Government from time to time, marks required for admission shall be 10% less than that prescribed for general category.

iii. As per G.O. Ms. No. 74 & 75 dated 28-07-2011, the candidate shall fulfill eligibility criteria for admission into Engineering, Pharmacy and Pharm-D courses.

iv. However, in all the cases, candidate shall fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down in the relevant G.Os/Amendments/Notifications to be issued at the time of Admissions.
