Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET)

Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) is the state-level entrance examination being conducted for admission to first year of undergraduate programs leading to a bachelor’s degree in different disciplines of engineering (B.Tech. and B.E.) in various government-aided and private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other deemed private universities). Online applications (registration) for RPET are invited by the Board of Technical Education Rajasthan from eligible candidates of Rajasthan domicile including the wards of Kashmiri Migrants.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are fulfilling the following eligibility criteria are eligible for the RPET 2020 examination:

• Aspirant must be the domicile bearer of Rajasthan. He/she must have a valid domicile of Rajasthan as a proof of his/her residence.
• Coming to the age criteria, the GEN/OBC candidates must possess age on or after 1 October, 1992 while the candidates of reserved category (SC/ST) should have the age on or after October 1, 1987.
• The candidates must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from the recognized board with an aggregate percentage of 45%. For reserved category, 40% will also be acceptable.
• The candidate who is appearing for RPET 2020 should have Physics, Math’s and other optional subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science in 12th

How to Apply

• Visit the official website at-http://techedu.rajasthan.gov.in/
• Click on ‘RPET 2020 Application Form’ link.
• Select the appropriate link and fill the online application form.
• Upload documents if required.
• Pay examination fee as mentioned above.
• Click on submit button.
• Take print out of your application form.
• The completed application form should be sent through Registered post/Speed post to the below mentioned address.

Enclose the following documents with application form:

• Class X Certificate and Mark-sheet
• Class XII Mark-sheet
• Category Certificate
• Domicile certificate

Exam Pattern

If you are going to appear in the RPET exam 2020 you must have information regarding its exam pattern. Having information of RPET 2020 exam pattern will help you to do preparation in an exact manner as per the necessity. Following are the few points relating to the exam pattern for RPET exam 2020:

• RPET 2020 syllabus will follow the syllabus of class 11^th and 12^th.
• The exam will be for 3 hours.
• There will be 120 questions in the exam; 40 from Physics, 40 from Chemistry and 40 from Mathematics.
• Question paper will be available in Hindi as well as English language.
• Candidates will be awarded by one mark for every right answer committed by them.

Syllabus

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

Admit card will be available on the website only for those candidates who have successfully submitted the RPET 2020 admit card. It will be possible to download the admit card by candidates through their application number and registration number.

Results

IT is Probable that the result for RPET 2016 will be visible on the official website in the month of June 2020. Candidates will be selected on their marks achieved. Exact date will be updated at our website later.
