Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

Candidates who have passed two year PUC examination of Karnataka PUC board or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or University with not less than 40% marks in any combination comprising PCM or PCB (minimum eligibility should be based on the aggregate of PCM or PCB) or PCMB, PC and Comp.Science, PC and Electronics

B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)

Pass in Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) and should be a registered nurse

Step 2: Contact Information

– Here, the candidates will have to fill out their address, mobile number and email id.

Step 3: Education Qualification

– The candidate will have to provide the name of their school, qualifying exam, board and year of passing. The candidate will also have to upload scanned copies of his photograph and signature.

– The photograph must be recent and passport sized and taken with a light (preferably white) background. The signature must be signed with a blue / black pen on a white background.

Step 4: Programs and Payment

– Here, the candidate will have to select the course they want to take admission in and make the fee payment.

Step 5: Confirmation

– The candidate must verify all the information provided and press on Submit. The final application form will be produced that the candidate should save and take a print out of.

Application Fee

– The cost of MUOET 2017 application for Indian students is Rs.600 plus an additional cost of Rs.1400 as entrance fee. The candidates can choose to make the payment either through online options or offline. For online fee payment, a candidate can use a credit card / debit card or net banking.

On the other hand, if the candidate chooses to pay the fee offline, he would have to do so by the means of a Demand Draft (DD). The DD must be drawn in favour of “Manipal University” and should be payable at either Udupi or Manipal.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech (4 years)

  • Pass in +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology(For B.Tech – Biotechnology; Physics, Chemistry and Biology are also eligible) or equivalent of any recognized central/state board of secondary school examination such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
  • Pass in +2 level examination with minimum 45% marks in above subjects taken together shall be admitted to B.Tech. For Reserved Category candidates 40% marks.
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-university Examination Conducted by a recognised Board/ university (or)
  • Final Examination of the two year course of the Joint Services wing of the National Defence academy (or)
  • Public School/Board or University Examination in India recognised as equivalent to 10+2system (or)
  • H.S.C. Vocational Examination (or)

B.Arch (5 years)

  • 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks (or)

Candidates must not provide any fake information in the application form as it may lead to cancellation of your application. There are two major steps to apply for PMUET 2017; the very first step is filling up the application form and second one is paying application fee.

Eligibility Criteria
  • A candidate who is appearing or has appeared in the qualifying examination, i.e. 12th Standard in 2017 is eligible to appear in the test. However, he/she shall be admitted to the course only, if he/she provides the proof of passing the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of admission.
  • A candidate who has passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 55% aggregate of marks in respective subject combinations given under section 3. A relaxation of 5% marks will be given to SC Candidates.
  • The candidates having compartment in 10+2 examination at the time of admission will not be eligible for admission to any course.

How to Apply

– The candidate is required to fill the online form by visiting the website www.davuniversity.org. Get a printout of
the filled online form, the admit cards, and the attendance slip. Affix latest passport-size photographs and
sign wherever required.

– The admit card should be attested from the principal of school/respective examination centre. The form complete in all respects along with registration fee will have to be submitted by hand or by registered post / speed post/courier to the examination centre selected by the candidate in his/her application form. List of test centres is given in Annexure-I. However, the candidate may also get the registration form from the Principal of the opted examination centre by paying Rs.200/- and follow the above procedure.

Note:
– The filled-in form should not be sent to DAV University unless DAV University Jalandhar opts as the exam centre.
– Candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the filled-in application form and admit card for future reference.
– The University will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in postal transit

Mode Of Payment

The candidate can pay the fee of Rs. 200/- to the Examination Centre opted by the candidate. Or
b) Multicity cheque or Demand Draft The fee can also be deposited through Multicity cheque/DD of Rs 200/-drawn in favour of “Principal, ………………..”, (fill in respective examination centre) payable at the respective
city. Candidate should write his/her name, address and mobile number on the reverse side of multicity cheque/DD.

Note:
– In case DAV University is opted as a test centre the Multicity cheque/DD of Rs 200/- is to be drawn in favour of Registrar, DAV University, Jalandhar.
– Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
– The applications will be processed on receipt of payment. The online application form registered within due date without deposition of the requisite fee will not be entertained.

Exam Pattern

The Question paper shall be based on CBSE syllabi of 10+1 and 10+2. Question paper will be in English language only and questions will be of multiple choices (MCQ) type. Each question will have 4 choices out of which only one correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate circle is to be shaded on the provided OMR sheet. Each question will carry one mark. The question paper will have the following four sections:

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

  • Admit Card once generated should be carefully examined by the candidate. If any discrepancy is noticed it should immediately be brought to the notice of the Admission coordinator in the respective test centre.
  • No candidate will be permitted to appear in the test without a valid Admit Card.
  • Candidate must not tamper with the Admit Card.
  • The Admit Card is not transferable to any other person
  • The Admit Card is an important document. It should be preserved and produced at the time of counselling and admission

Results

After the evaluation of Answer, Sheets result is likely to be declared by the first week of May 2017 and the same will be available on the University website www.davuniversity.org.

A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks secured in the DAVUET-2017. There will be no separate merit list of SC/ST candidates.

There is no provision for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Counselling

  • The date / time for counseling will be displayed on the university website: www.davuniversity.org. Candidates can download and take a printout of his/her counselling letter/ counselling record from the University website and appear for the counselling as per the counseling schedule.
  • Short-listed candidates based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counselling to be held at the DAV University premises in Jalandhar, Punjab and/ or at a Centre to be notified later subsequent to the declaration of the result.
  • It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualification for admission or not. Having been called for the counselling does not necessarily mean the acceptance of eligibility claimed by the candidate.
  • The provisional admission offered to a candidate to a program will stand cancelled if he / she does not submit the relevant documents in original, pertaining to admission (such as Marks Statements, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, etc.).
  • Change of date / time of counselling is generally not permissible. If a candidate does not appear for counselling / Interview on the date and time specified, his / her seat shall be offered to the next candidate in order of merit.
  • The selected candidates will have to deposit the prescribed fee on confirmation of the seat and acceptance of the branch allotted.
  • The candidates should produce the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies while reporting for counselling.

Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process without these documents.

Exam Pattern

Each entrance test will be of 90 minutes duration with 100 multiple choices type questions covering all the units mentioned in the syllabus. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative mark for wrong answer.
