NID Design Aptitude Test is a means through which aspirants are shortlisted for admission in UG and PG design courses offered at the prestigious National Institute Design (NID) campuses. Candidates need to clear two NID admission tests in order to be eligible for admission in Bachelor of Design (BDes), Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) and Master of Design (MDes) courses offered at its campuses.
Earlier, NID offered admission in its five campuses through NID entrance exam. However, from 2019 onwards two more NID campuses, that is, NID Bhopal and NID Jorhat were added to the list wherein admission was offered in GDPD course on the basis of NID admission test.
NID DAT Prelims 2020 is over. The result for NID DAT Prelims for MDes admissions has been announced on February 21 whereas for BDes/ GDPD, the result has been postponed and is likely to be declared around April 10, 2020. NID Entrance Exam 2020 Highlights

NID DAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to apply for BDes or GDPD course at NID meet the eligibility criteria if they have cleared or are appearing for their higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examination from any stream (Science, Humanities, Commerce, etc.) from any recognised board such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or their equivalent in the year 2019-2020 can apply for the exam.
On the other hand, candidates are eligible to apply for MDes course if they have completed their bachelor’s degree from a recognised college/ university. Apart from this, aspirants applying for NID admission in MDes course should not be more than 30 years of age as on June 30, 2020.

As part of NID admission process, candidates need to first fill their application form. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for this design entrance exam are then eligible to appear for NID DAT Prelims. Aspirants who clear the first stage of NID admissions then need to appear for NID DAT Mains. Finally, candidates who clear this admission round as well are offered admission in the course/ college of their choice.
NID admissions 2020 is a two tier process. Thus, for NID admissions candidates need to appear for NID DAT (Prelims) and NID DAT (Mains). The objective of conducting both these tests is to assess knowledge, skills as well as behavioural abilities of candidates.
NID DAT 2020 Test Centres
The test centres for NID exam conducted for BDes and MDes course admissions are different for NID admissions 2020. NID DAT Prelims 2020 is scheduled to be conducted at 21 test cities in the country.
PES University conducts Design Aptitude Test (DAT) to shortlist aspirants for admission in Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes offered at the Design School of the University. The first batch of BDes at PES University commenced in August 2016. The University offers BDes programmes in streams such as Product Design, Interaction Design and Communication Design.
In order to offer admission to aspirants in BDes programmes, PES University accepts PESSAT DAT as well as UCEED scores.
PES University conducts PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) exam in order to offer admission to aspirants in courses such as BTech, BBA, BBA in Hotel and Event Management, MTech, MBA, MCA and MSc in Engineering.
PESSAT DAT Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates meet PESSAT DAT 2020 eligibility criteria if they fulfill any of the below mentioned requirements:
Should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Humanities, Science, Commerce or any other relevant stream and should have studied English as a mandatory course.
Or
Should have passed three year diploma with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and should have studied English as a mandatory course.
And
Should have secured a rank in UCEED conducted by IDC of IIT Bombay or should have a valid score in PESSAT DAT conducted by PES University.
PESSAT DAT Admission Process 2020

Candidates need to go through the below mentioned steps in order to successfully appear for Pearl Academy Entrance Exam 2020. Step 1: Fill Pearl Academy Application Form
In order to apply for design programmes offerd at the college, aspirants need to fill Pearl Academy Entrance Exam 2020 application form either in the online or offline mode. In the application form for Pearl Academy admissions, candidates need to fill information such as their personal details, choice of course, educational qualifications and work experience.
Step 2: Download Pearl Academy Admit Card
After candidates have successfully registered for Pearl Academy entrance exam 2020, they will be provided with an admit card which is a mandatory document that they need to carry to their exam centre. Aspirants are informed that they need to download their Pearl Academy Entrance Exam 2020 admit card from the official website. No separate admit card will be sent to students by post. Admit cards will be provided to students for written test as well as personal interview round conducted for Pearl Academy admissions 2020, four days before the Pearl Academy entrance exam.

In order to secure admission in any course offered at Pearl Academy, candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in both – Written Test and Personal Interview/Studio Test. Candidates who make it to the final merit list for Pearl Academy admissions will be allotted the programme as well as campus basis their rank and preference. Candidates who are shortlisted for admissions at Pearl Academy are sent a formal “Admission Offer Letter” after the result is declared. “Candidates will be required to pay the fees by stipulated date to secure their seats. In case a successful candidate does not pay the fees within the stipulated date, the seat will be offered to other deserving candidates”, informs the official website. Note: In a situation wherein a candidate is not selected for admission in his/her desired programme in a given admission cycle then such an aspirant is eligible to apply again in the next admission cycle.
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) conducts Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) to provide admission to aspirants in Master of Design (MDes) and PhD programmes offered at colleges accepting CEED scores. As per statistics shared, CEED 2020 was attempted by 5,564 candidates and out of this number 1,724 candidates qualified the exam.
CEED exam comprises two parts – A and B. CEED exam pattern is such that part A of the exam consists of objective type questions (to be attempted in online mode) whereas part B of the exam contains subjective questions (to be attempted in offline mode). CEED Part B exam contains questions that test design, drawing and writing skills of candidates. Part A of CEED exam is considered as a screening test. It means that only candidates who clear Part A are evaluated for Part B of the exam.
CEED exam was conducted on January 18, 2020 and its result was declared on March 1. IIT Bombay has also released the list of CEED topper. The topper of CEED 2020 is from Chattisgarh and he has scored 69.68 marks in the exam. CEED Rank 2 and Rank 3 holders are from Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand, respectively.

CEED 2020 Eligibility Criteria
CEED 2020 eligibility criteria as stated by IIT Bombay mentioned that aspirants should have completed their degree / diploma / post graduate degree programme of minimum three years after 10+2 level education or candidates should give the final examination of such a programme by July 2020. Apart from these criteria, candidates are also eligible to take CEED exam if they have passed GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2020. Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for CEED exam. Aspirants can appear for CEED multiple times.

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission into Symbiosis institutes. SET exam 2020 will be held on May 2, at all exam centers. SET exam 2020 is a three-step process including application submission, SET 2020 written test and Personal Interview/Written Ability Test STEP 1: Fill the SET application form
The candidates can apply for SET 2020 through an online application form available on the official website. They need to register on the SET website as a new user. On successful registration, the candidates will be able to access the application form. Payment of application fee of Rs 1750 can be made online only through net banking or by credit/debit card. STEP 2: Download SET admit card
SET admit card will be issued to registered students on April 22, 2020. The candidates can download their respective admit cards from the official website. STEP 3: Appear for SET exam 2020
SET exam 2020 will be held on the scheduled date in all the test centers across the country at the same time. The candidates must be present at the venue along with the admit cards and one identity proof (Driving license, Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport). STEP 4: Check SET result 2020
SET result 2020 will be announced on the official website. Selected candidates will be called for WAT/PI round. Each school will release their own cut off and post SET admission process. The candidates are advised to check individual websites. STEP 5: Appear for SET WAT/PI
The candidate must carry all the relevant documents (original and photocopy) to the WAT/PI round. Admission will be granted on the basis of a candidate’s overall performance in SET and WAT/PI.

LUGMAT is an entrance exam conducted by Lucknow University for admission to BBA, BBA (IB), BBA (MS), BBA (Tourism) and BCom (Hons). Selection of candidates for both the program, that is- BBA and B.Com (Hons) Program is done on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the University.

The schedule of LUGMAT 2020 exam has been announced by the University of Lucknow. LUGMAT 2020 entrance test for admission to BBA, BBA (IB), BBA (MS), BBA (Tourism) will be conducted from April 28 to May 8. The LUGMAT 2020 application is ongoing and will end on April 15.
The phase 1 of LUGMAT 2020 counselling is likely to be conducted from last week of May to last week of June 2020. The Phase 2 counselling is likely to be conducted from last week of June to first week of July 2020.

Step 1: Fill in the Application form
Interested candidates are required to fill the application form. The application form could be filled online. It is also important to check the eligibility before filling the form.
The registration fee is as follows for BCom (Hons):
For candidates belonging to General and OBC category: Rs 800 (with late fee Rs 1800)
For candidates belonging to SC and ST: Rs 400 (with late fee Rs 1400)
The registration fee is as follows for BBA, BBA (IB), BBA (MS), BBA (Tourism).

Registered candidates can start downloading their LUGMAT 2020 admit card at least a week prior to the date of examination. The same will be made available online and candidates can download the same from the official website of Lucknow University. Step 3: Appear for LUGMAT 2020
The LUGMAT question paper consists of 100 questions and the duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. Candidates will be required to answer objective type questions. The LUGMAT syllabus mainly consists of the topics studied in 10+2. Step 4: Check LUGMAT 2020 Result
