LSAT India 2020 is a law entrance exam conducted offline (paper-pencil based) for admissions to five-year integrated undergraduate and two-year postgraduate law programs in over 45 law schools of India
This year, Pearson VUE administered LSAT India,which is a standardized test of reading and reasoning skills will be conducted on 17th May 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for LSAT 2020

Pearson VUE will notify LSAT India 2020 eligibility criteria for those seeking admissions through the law school admission test. As per the eligibility criteria of LSAT India 2020.
Applicants need to be a citizen of India. Candidates should have qualified 12th board examination of 10+2 education system of CBSE or any other equivalent education board, if applying for undergraduate law programs including BA LLB.
Those applying for postgraduate law programs including LLM need to be an LLB degree holder with minimum qualifying marks.
The qualifying marks, however, shall vary for each of the participating colleges across India.

Age Limit

There is no age limit to apply for the LSAT India exam.
Candidates have to check the age limit as specified by individual colleges wherein they are seeking admission.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Notification – NCHMCT JEE is a national level exam that is conducted every year for admission to undergraduate courses in hospitality. NCHM JEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate willing to apply for NCHMCT 2020 must be aware of the eligibility criteria required by the institution for admission
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination with English as the main subject. The candidate who is to take the examination in 2020 will have to submit the pass certificate for the final admission at the time of counseling

NCHM JEE Age Limit

  • Candidate who belongs to General or OBC category has an upper age limit of 22 years as on 01st July 2020. These candidates must have been born on or after 01st July 1998. The candidate who belongs to SC/ST category has an upper age limit of 25 years as on 01st July 2020. These candidates must have been born on or after 01st July 1995
  • Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate shall be the authentic proof that will be accepted

Physical Fitness required to apply for NCHM JEE 2020 Exam

  • It is mandatory for the candidate registering for the examination to submit a fitness certificate
  • All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format given at ANNEXURE-I

Reservation of Seats at NCHMCT

  • As per Government of India rules candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them. Benefit of reservation shall be given only to those classes/castes/tribes, which are in the respective Central
  • List published by Govt. of India
    • 15% for Scheduled Caste (SC) Category in Central and State IHMs
    • 7½% for Scheduled Tribes (ST) Category in Central and State IHMs
    • 27% for OBC (Central List) (Non-Creamy Layer) Category in Central IHMs

Written Test Centres for NCHM JEE 2020

  • NCHM JEE will be an online exam only and there will be no option for ‘pen and paper’ exam. Exam will be held in 33 or more cities in all over India. While applying, candidates have to select any four cities of their choice. The exam scheme will remain as same as the previous years on the following components.

  • The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted, in any case.
  • Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. Multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected.

NCHM JEE Admit Card 2020

  • All those candidates who will apply successfully for the examination will be provided with the admit card. It is a must to carry this admit card to the examination center on the date of examination

Eligibility Criteria for CDS Exam 2020 (I)

Check the UPSC CDS Exam 2020 Eligibility below before filling the Application form for registration.
Nationality: A candidates must either be:

  1. a Citizen of India, or
  2. a subject of Bhutan, or
  3. a subject of Nepal, or
  4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 01st January 1962 with the intention of permanently setting in India, or
  5. a person of India origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (I), (Ii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt of India

Note:

  1. Certificate of eligibility will, however, not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal
  2. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the exam provisionally subject to the necessary certificate being given to him/her by the Govt. before declaration of result by UPSC.

CDS Age Limit, Sex & Marital Status

  3. For Air Force Academy – 20 to 24 years as on 01st January 2021 i.e. born not earlier than 02nd January 1997 and not later than 01st January 2001 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born not earlier than 02nd January 1995 and not later than 01st January 2001) only are eligible
  4. For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for Men) Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 02nd January 1996 and not later than 01st January 2002 only are eligible.
  5. For Officers’ Training Academy – (SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible; they should have been born not earlier than 02nd January 1996 and not later than 01st January 2002.

Note: Male divorcee/widower candidates cannot be treated as unmarried male for the purpose of their admission in IMA/INA/AFA/OTA, Chennai courses and accordingly they are not eligible for these courses.
Education Qualification

  1. For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai – Degree of a recognised University or equivalent
  2. For Indian Naval Academy – Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution
  3. For Air Force Academy – Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering
  4. Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of Graduation/provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.
  5. Candidates who are studying in the final year/semester Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply provided candidate should not have any present backlog upto the last semester / year for which results have been declared upto the time of submission of application and they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination at the time of commencement of course to reach the IHQ of MoD (Army), Rtg ‘A’, CDSE Entry, West Block II, R. K. Puram, New Delhi-110066
  6. in case of IMA/SSC first choice candidates and Naval HQ “DMPR” (OI & R Section), Room No. 204, ‘C’ Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi-110011 in case of Navy first choice candidates and PO3(A)/Air Headquarters, ‘J’ Block, Room No. 17, Opp. Vayu Bhawan, Motilal Nehru Marg, New Delhi-110 106 in case of Air Force first choice candidates by the following dates failing which their candidature will stand cancelled:

Physical Standards (CDS Eligibility)

  1. Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Combined Defence Services Examination (1), 2020 as per guidelines given in Appendix-IV of the information brochure

Fee Details

  1. Candidates (except Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs.200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card
  2. Applicants who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode should print the system generated Pay in-slip during Part-I registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only

Selection Procedure

  1. The candidates will be provided admission to INA, IMA, Air Force Academy, and Officers’ Training Academy through Written Examination, Personality Test and Interview
  2. The candidates will be placed in the order of merit on the basis of the total marks secured by them in the written examination and in the SSB tests. The final selection will be made in order of merit subject to medical fitness and suitability in all other respects and number of vacancies available

CDS Exam Pattern

  1. The Competitive examination comprises:

  3. Interview for intelligence and personality test (vide Part ‘B’ of this Appendix) of such candidates as may be called for interview at one of the Services Selection Centres
  4. The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:

(a) For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy:

  1. English – Duration: 2 Hours & Maximum Marks 100
  2. General – Duration: Knowledge 2 Hours; & Maximum Marks 100
  3. Elementary – Duration: Mathematics 2 Hours; & Maximum Marks 100

(b) For Admission to Officers’ Training Academy:

  1. English – Duration: 2 Hours & Maximum Marks 100
  2. General Knowledge – Duration: Knowledge 2 Hours; & Maximum Marks 100
  3. Maximum marks allotted to the written exam and the interviews will be equal for each course i.e. the maximum marks allotted to the written exam and the interviews will be 300, 300, 300 and 200 each for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers’ Training Academy respectively
  4. The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (Test Booklets) of General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English
  5. In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of Weights and Measures only will be set

  2. The admit cards will not be sent by post. Candidates will have to take a print of the admit card and bring it with them at the time of examination. To download the admit card, candidates have to enter details such as RID and date of birth or roll number. Candidates can check the links to get full information regarding the admit card.

UPSC CDS Exam 2020 Registration Procedure

  1. Candidates are required to apply online only using the link www.upsconline.nic.in click here to apply
  2. The applicants are advised to submit only single application, however if due to any unavoidable situation, if he/she submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that application with the higher RID (Registration ID) is complete in all respects like applicants’ details, examination centre, photograph, signature, fee etc.
  3. The applicants who are submitting multiple applications should note that only the applications with higher RID (Registration ID) shall be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.
  4. Candidates are not required to submit alongwith their applications any certificate in support of their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, SC/ST/OBC and fee remission etc.
  5. The e-Admission Certificate will be made available in the UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in for downloading by candidates. No admission certificate will be sent by post

PC for Men:

  • Candidates joining as PC officers would continue to serve till the age of superannuation as per their branch and rank.

SSC for Men & Women:

  • The Engagement period for SSC Flying Branch is 14 years from the date of Commissioning (Not extendable)
  • Initial tenure for SSC officers in Ground Duty (Tech) and Ground Duty (Non-Tech) Branches would be for a period of ten years. An extension of four years may be granted subject to willingness, suitability, service requirements and availability of vacancies.

  • Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India

Age

  • Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2021 i.e. born between 02 January 1997 to 01 January 2001 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born between 02 January 1995 to 01 January 2001 (both dates inclusive).
  • Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch: 20 to 26 years as on 01 January  2021 i.e. born between 02  January  1995  to  01  January  2001   (both dates Inclusive)

Note: Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of course. Widows/Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not eligible.

Graduates with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.   • Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

 

AFCAT 1 2020 Selection Procedure

  • All applicants whose applications are submitted by the due date will be called for AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT)
  • The AFCAT will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and military aptitude
  • Sample question papers and syllabus of AFCAT/EKT is available on IAF career website careerairforce.nic.in
  • EKT would be for 45 minutes and conducted immediately after AFCAT. It is mandatory for the candidates opting for ground duty (technical) branch to pass both AFCAT & EKT
  • Candidates who are short-listed on the basis of AFCAT/EKT will be called for further testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs) at Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar, Varanasi or Kanchrapara. Candidates who opt for flying branch can opt for Dehradun, Mysore and Varanasi only. The testing would consist of three stages as given below:

Stage-I

  • Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with Picture Perception and discussion test will be conducted on the first day. Stage-I test is a screening test and only those who qualify would undergo subsequent testing. All Stage-I qualified candidates would be subjected to document check to ascertain their eligibility for the branches applied for. Candidates who either do not qualify in
  • Stage-I or do not meet the required eligibility criteria would be sent back on the first day itself

Stage-II

  • Psychological test, Group Tests and Interview would commence after document check for the next five days

For Flying Branch

  • Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) would be administered to recommended candidates only. This is a once in a lifetime test. Candidates who have failed the CPSS/PABT in an earlier attempt or a Flight Cadet suspended from flying training at the Air Force Academy will not be eligible to apply

Physical Fitness Test

  • Candidates will be required to complete 1.6km run in stipulated time frame of 9 Min, 100 Meter run in 16 sec, furthermore 20 Pushup and Sit-ups in 1 minute, should be able to do 3 chin-ups and should be able to swim 25 meters.

  • While filling online application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available, as details are to be filled as per matriculation and other educational certificates. Please save your recent colour passport size photograph (size 10 to 50 KB) in the computer for uploading it with your online application form
  • Please note that utmost care needs to be taken while filling up the online application
  • Details of AFCAT centres are appended and would be allocated as per availability of seats at AFCAT centre. The centres are allocated on first cum first basis and candidate might get another centre beyond his/her choice on delayed submission of application. No change of centre will be entertained
  • Please note that information filled up by the candidates in the online application form will be considered final and no amendments will be allowed subsequently

Examination Fee for AFCAT Entry

  • Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay the examination fee of Rs.250/- (not applicable for NCC special entry and Meteorology) to be paid online through the ‘Make Payment’ step on the main menu of the online application
  • No cash or cheque or demand draft (DD) will be accepted towards payment of examination fee. The examination fee can be paid using credit/ debit cards/ net banking through the payment gateway

NDA 2020 (I) Notification – National Defence Academy/Naval Academy 2020

NDA Exam 2020 (I) Notification – UPSC National Defence Academy has released notification for NDA & NA Exam (I) 2020 scheduled to be held in the month of April 2020. The NDA Exam will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 19th April, 2020 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 145th Course, and for the 107th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January, 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA (I) 2020

Nationality
 
A candidate must be unmarried male and must be :
i) a citizen of India
ii) a subject of Bhutan,
iii) a subject of Nepal
iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age Limits Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2001 and not later than 1st July, 2004 are eligible.
Physical Standards Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2020 as per guidelines given in Appendix-IV.

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Naval Academy 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

 

How to Apply for NDA (I) 2020 – Application Process

Candidates are required to apply online through the website upsconline.nic.in
Candidate should also have details of one photo ID viz. Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ School Photo ID/Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government. The details of this photo ID will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form. The same photo ID card will also have to be uploaded with the Online Application Form. This photo ID will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this ID while appearing for examination/SSB.

NDA (I) 2020 Selection Procedure

The Union Public Service Commission shall prepare a list of candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination as fixed by the Commission at their discretion.
Such candidates shall appear before a Services Selection Board for Intelligence and Personality Test where candidates for the Army/Navy wings of the NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy will be assessed on Officers Potentiality and those for the Air Force in addition to the above will have to qualify Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS).
Candidates with Air Force as one of the choices would also undergo CPSS if they qualify SSB and are willing.

The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only
The question papers (test booklets) of mathematics and part “b” of general ability test will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English.
In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of Weights and Measures only will be set.
Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write the answers for them.
The Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects at the examination. The candidates are not permitted to use a calculator or Mathematical or logarithmic table for answering objective type papers (Test Booklets). They should not therefore, bring the same inside the Examination Hall.

Two-Stage Selection Procedure

Two-stage selection procedure based on Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test has been introduced at Selection Centres/Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards.
All the candidates will be put to stage-one test on first day of reporting at Selection Centres/Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards. Only those candidates who qualify at stage one will be admitted to the second stage/remaining tests.
Those candidates who qualify stage II will be required to submit the Original Certificates along with one photocopy each of : (i) Original Matriculation pass certificate or equivalent in support of date of birth, (ii) Original 10+2 pass certificate or equivalent in support of educational qualification.
