Division Overview

Development, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Architecture and Infrastructure teams at Calypso work together to offer a powerful yet adaptable technology platform that meets the needs of the end client. Our development teams ensure that all code is of the highest quality when it is delivered to clients. Our product managers are made up of technical and capital market experts who collaborate to design and build our software and product roadmap, while our quality assurance team is constantly working to improve the quality of our platform delivery through test methodologies for implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

Team and Role Overview

The R&D-Engineering team has various subdivisions. This role sits within the Product Center-India, again divided based on products- Treasury, Interest Rate, FX, Collateral, Clearing. This role will be working within a new team and closely work with Software Engineers, SME-Managers. The team is seeking for students pursuing final year (BE/BTech/MCA) Engineering background who are keen to work within the Engineering team. This is a 6-month role with an opportunity to become a permanent part of the team at the end of the period basis performance.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new tools using Java technologies.
Work closely with product management and clients to build new features from initial requirements through delivery.
Assists in the build, documentation and testing of the packaged business solution based on the specifications provided by the product manager.
