Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board was constituted Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE). The Government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various Institutions in the state. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conduct for admission into Engineering, M.B.B.S., Agriculture, Forestry, B.V.Sc. & A.H., Homeopathic, Ayurvedic degree Courses.

Eligibility Criteria

– Candidates should have Permanent/Local resident of Jharkhand

– Aspirants minimum age should be 17 years as on 31st December of the examination year.

B.Tech. Course
-A candidate has to fulfill the following criteria as per the guidelines of AICTE, Delhi for taking part in this stream:
– Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject and He/She has obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
[I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling.] .

M.B.B.S. Course
– A candidate has to fulfill the following criteria as per the guidelines of MCI, Delhi for taking part in this stream:
– Applicant must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology at the qualifying examination.
– In respect of candidates belonging to reserve category, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates.
[I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling.]

Agriculture & Forestry Course
– A candidate has to fulfill the following criteria for taking part in this stream:
– Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the Mathematics/Biology.
[I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling.]

Animal Husbandry [B.V.Sc. & A.H.] Course
– A candidate has to fulfill the following criteria as per the guidelines of V.C.I. for taking part in this stream:
– Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subject. [I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling.]

Reservation Criteria

Aspirants must be a Permanent/Local resident of Jharkhand AND have procured proper Local Residential Certificate & Caste Certificate issued by proper authority assigned by Govt. of Jharkhand to get the reservation as per RESERVATION POLICY of Govt. of Jharkhand. Up-to-date reservation policy of Govt. of Jharkhand will be followed in all courses of Govt. and Private Institutes situated in Jharkhand State.

How to Apply

Candidates can apply for JCECE 2017 either online, through ICR Application Form or by purchasing OMR Application form from Post Office. Online Mode

One can apply for JCECE exam online by visiting the official website and clicking on apply online option.
Fill the application form by providing the necessary details and making a payment of INR 550 ( INR 275 INR for SC/ST) for PCM & PCB and INR 600 (INR 325 INR for SC/ST) for PCMB.

Candidates can the application fee through debit card/ credit card using online payment facility or depositing in JCECE board’s bank account with Bank of India directly by downloading the challan form generated in the process of filling the application form.

Step 1: Download the Information Bulletin and read it carefully to ensure your eligibility.

Step 2: Read the instructions for applying online given in the information Bulletin and keep entire information ready including scanned images of Photograph, Signature and Left hands thumb impression in JPG format only.

Step 3: Registeryourself with examination group.

Step 4: Pay Examination fee by Debit Credit Card or e-Challan and complete part II of the application.

Step 5: Fill the Online Application Form and upload Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Left hands thumb impression.

Paper Pattern

JCECE 2017 will be conducted in pen paper mode. Questions will be of objective type. There will be 3 Papers- Physics & Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/ Bio-technology. Question will be framed on CBSE Class 11& Class12 syllabus.There will be 3 subject groups namely PCM(Physics,Chemistry & Mathematics),PCB (Physics,Chemistry & Biology) and PCMB(Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics and Biology). Each section will have 50 MCQs with 4 options. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark. The following table will give you a brief idea about the JCECE 2016 exam pattern for each subject.

Admit Card

The JCECE 2017 Admit Card or Hall Ticket is the most important document that the candidate must bear for the examination on their respective JCECE 2017 Exam Centers. The candidate must keep in touch with the official website on the mentioned date to successfully download the admit card. Following are the steps to download the admit card:

Open the official website of the JCECE mentioned in the information brochure. (http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/)

– Search for the Admit Card Tab.

– Choose the JCECE Examination.

– Fill in the credentials asked namely the registration ID and date of birth in the provided blank fields.

– Click on the “Submit” button post filling and verifying the appropriate details.

– Download the admit card by providing the Registration ID and Password granted to the candidate at the time of JCECE 2016 Application Process.

– The applicant must note that the admit card is in pdf format. Post downloading the admit card the candidate shall Print the same for further use.

Results

JCECE 2017 Result is expected to be out in the month of July . Results will be published on official website.

– Click on the JCECE. 2017 Result link and enter the registration number and password

– The result will appear on the screen which could be downloaded by the candidate.

BCECE 2017 or Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2017 is a state level entrance exam conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board also known as BCECEB. The BCECE exam is conducted for admission to various UG courses in the field of Engineering, Medical, Agriculture and technology. The BCECE is a very competitive exam given by thousands of students for admission to the professional degree courses in government and private medical colleges of the Bihar state. Here in this article candidate will get all the details regarding BCECE application form, exam pattern, admit card and result.

In accordance with the Bihar combined entrance competitive examination Act, 1995, Government of Bihar constituted the board for conducting entrance examinations for admission to first year of undergraduate engineering courses available in colleges and institutes of Bihar. There are two stages of the entrance examination for engineering aspirants, and to get a seat in participating instututes of BCECE 2017, the candidates have to qualify both the stages of BCECE 2017. Eligibility Criteria

– The candidate appearing for the exam must have passed class 12th (intermediate), from a recognized board having 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Math/biology.

– The candidate belonging to reserved category are given some relaxation in the percentage as per the norms of the government.

– The candidate should be 17 years of age as on 1st July for medical and agricultural courses, however for engineering and pharmacy courses their no age limit.

How to Apply

Application forms for BCECE 2017, will be out in the month of February 2017 so all the candidates are advised to stay connected with the official site of BCECE Board to get all the updated details regarding BCECE 2017.

Application Fee

The candidates have to fill the BCECE form through the online mode, after filling all the details and uploading photograph and signature, candidates have to pay the application fees. The application fees is Rs. 660/- (for General and OBC candidates) or Rs. 330/- (for SC and ST candidates).

– The candidates belong to PCMB group are required to pay the application fees of Rs. 730/- (for General and OBC candidates) or Rs. 365/- (for SC and ST candidates). The candidates can pay their fees either through the online mode by using credit/debit card or they can also pat it by using bank challan.

BCECE Syllabus

The BCECE Syllabus consists of 4 subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

Paper Pattern

The paper will be held in two phases.

Stage I
There will be four section in the exam i.e. from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. All the questions will be of MCQ type having 4 options. The total no. of question will be 200, i.e. 50 from each section. The duration of the examination is 2 hours 15 min. The question paper will be of total 600 marks. For each incorrect answer 1 marks will be deducted.

All candidates have to attempt physics and chemistry as compulsory sections, and Math and biology as optional as per their chosen field for engineering or medical.

Stage II
The stage 2 will also contain four sections from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, having 100 question in each subject and each subject carries 400 marks with +4 mark for correct answer and -1 for wrong answer.

Admit Card

The candidates appearing for BCECE 2017 exam can download their BCECE admit card from the official website of the board.

Results

The result of the exam has been announced in the official website or student can also check the updates about the result here in this page.
Candidates will have to qualify the Stage 1 and stage 2 of this engineering entrance exam. After qualifying the stage 1 of BCECE 2017, candidates were allowed to appear for Stage 2. The BCECE 2017 result of Stage 1 was declared on April, 2017 and the result of stage 2 was declared on June 2017.

Counselling

– BCECE 2017 Counselling will be done on the basis of ranks obtained by a candidate in the entrance exam.

– To appear in counselling, candidates will have to register themselves and apply for choice filling.

– As per the scheduled dates, candidates have to report for handwriting test. Candidates can also check the provisional allotment status, but that status will not be considered as the final allocation status.

– Only after qualifying the handwriting test, qualified candidates can check for the final seat allotment and can download their allotment letter of BCECE 2017.

– After successful completion of counselling and downloading allotment letter, candidates must report to the allotted institutes for admission, fee deposition and document verification.
