  • Applications can be downloaded from GITAM website.
  • Applications can be obtained by post, from Principal, GITAM Institute of Science by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate’s name with complete mailing address, accompanied by DD for Rs.350/- (inclusive of Test fee Rs. 300/-) drawn in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank. Request by post will be accepted till April 2017. The test fee for Five year Integrated M.Sc. Chemistry sponsored by Laurus Labs is Rs. 500.
  • Candidates appearing for more than one test need to submit separate application along with the prescribed fee of Rs.300/- for each test.

Syllabus

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

The admit card of the candidate applying for GSAT 2017 will be available on the official site .After the announcement of hall ticket the candidate able to download the card by filling up the application number. Candidate can download and take the print out of their admit card. The hall ticket would be available online by 2017.

Results

Every year the entrance examination GITAM Science Admission Test 2017 is conducted in the month of May and the results are declared in the month of June. The result of the applicants will be available on the official website where students can mention their enrolment number and can check their results. If the candidate is qualified in the exam then he/she is eligible for counselling process.

Counselling

Online Application Process
All new users are required to register themselves at www.gyanvihar.org/gvsat by clicking the “Apply Online” button and follow these steps:

Step 1: Full name, mobile number and e-mail-id have to be provided by new user. A system-generated email shall be sent instantly at the e-mail id provided by the new user, providing him/her with his/her email id as unique username & 6 digit password and other important instructions.

Step 2: Click the button using the e-mail-id & password.

Step 3: User has to select the program of his/her choice and click on the button & complete the application form. The user can pay the fee through different payment modes

Payment Mode
Option 1: User can pay the fee online using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

Option 2: Option 2 is to be selected if the user is making the payment through bank demand draft or Challan generated and deposited at axis bank. The user is required to send a print-out of the duly completed application form to the GVSAT Coordinator, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Mahal, Jagatpura, Jaipur-302017, Rajasthan by speed post/registered post along with the original demand draft/ university challan copy, before the last date.

Option 3: User can also pay the fee through cash by paying the application fee at University Finance Department.

Offline Application Process
The candidate is required to download the offline Application Form from our website or can be obtained from the University or different form centers. Candidate can also fill the form online at our website for offline examination. Send the duly completed application form to the GVSAT Coordinator, Suresh GyanVihar University, Mahal, Jagatpura, Jaipur-302017, Rajasthan by Speed Post/Registered Post along with prescribed examination fee by demand draft / bank challan before last date.

The fee could be remitted in the following ways:
Option 1: Through a bank demand draft, drawn in favor of SURESH GYAN VIHAR UNIVERSITY, JAIPUR, payable at Jaipur. The candidate’s name, mobile number and program opted for should be mentioned legibly at the back of the Demand Draft.

Option 2: Through bank challan generated from gvsat website to be deposited at any branch of AXIS Bank across the country and a copy of the same to be sent to the University address with the application form by speed post/registered post.

Option 3: User can also pay the fee through cash by paying the application fee at University Finance Department.

Exam Pattern

All questions will be of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question will have four answers to it with only one being the correct answer. Each correct answer will fetch the candidate 2 marks. No marks will be awarded for questions not attempted. There is no negative marking either. There will be a total of 120 questions. The number of questions to each part will be as follows:

GVSAT will be in accordance with the NCERT syllabus for standard 11th and 12th. The detailed syllabus is available on the website. Candidates may refer to NCERT textbooks for the contents. A sample test demonstrating the features of GVSAT will be made available to the registered candidates on our website on which they can practice as many times as desired.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

The Admit card for online and offline examination will be generated on gyan vihar website on give date. Candidates can download the admit card by filling registration number/name and mobile number. The Admit card will be auto-generated for only those candidates whose form is successfully submitted by post or online with required fee before the last date.

Results

The candidates are required to enter their respective GVSAT 2017 Roll Number for checking their result and downloading of their scorecard. The result will furnish the rank secured by the candidates. Based on the result of GVSAT and the cutoff screening, eligible candidates would be selected for the next round of selection process. The selected candidates would be enlisted in a merit list and will be called for counselling cum allotment on the basis of appearance in the list.

Indian Institute of Art & Design (IIAD) invites applications for admissions into its courses offered at New Delhi campus for the academic session. Admissions are based on the merit of candidates determined by the performance of applicants in iDAT, Personal Portfolio & Personal Interview. IDAT is a yearly exam conducted for admissions to Bachelor degree programs in Fashion Design, Interior Architecture & Design and Communication Design Courses at Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD), New Delhi.

The iDAT is a mandatory two hour test for all applicants, and will be administered at prescribed testing centres. Selection Process

Eligibility Criteria

Admission BHMS:

  • All those candidates who have passed/appeared (up to the Academic Session 2015-2017) in the 10+2 Examination (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) of the CBSE, New Delhi or its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council shall be eligible to appear in the PU CET (BHMS) Entrance Test – 2017.
  • The admission of candidates for the PU CET (BHMS) 2017 Entrance Test shall be provisional. It shall stand cancelled, if they fail to satisfy the requisite eligibility conditions as required by the concerned institution/University by the date fixed for the purpose.
  • Only Indian Citizens are eligible for admission except in the NRI quota seats.
  • The candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in April 2017 from a recognised board “Body” Council or any other examination recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Panjab University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Admission B. Pharmacy, B.Sc. (Hons. School)

The candidates having compartment in 10+2 examination held in March-2017 will not be eligible for admission in the course. The candidates who do not appear in PU CET (U.G.) Entrance Test or who do not qualify PU – CET (U.G.) Entrance Test shall not be considered for admission.

PU CET 2017 Eligibility:

  • The candidates who have passed/appeared in 10+2 Examinations of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad are ineligible to appear in the PU CET (U.G.) Entrance Test, as this institution has been derecognised by Panjab University, Chandigarh. The examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi, included in the booklet of recognised exams, have also been deleted from the Booklet.

How to Apply

In PU CET UG 2017 applicants need to follow below steps for applying this exam successfully.

  • Candidate can apply online by going through the official website of this board
  • Now click on link “PU CET UG admission 2017” available on given page.
  • After that you need to fill in all the prescribed details in the application form.
  • Then recheck all the details and submit it.
  • Now pay the application fee through Demand Draft to the Punjab University administration office
  • Get the hard copy of application form for further reference.

Exam Pattern

  • The test will be conducted in the subjects of, (i) Physics, (ii) Chemistry (iii) Biology (iv) Mathematics (v) Biotechnology and (vi) Computer Science as per date sheet.
  • The scheme of the PUCET (U.G. & BHMS) Entrance Test is given below: For every wrong answer, 25% i.e. ¼ mark allotted to the question will be deducted.
  • The syllabus is as per the CBSE for the session 2014-16.
  • The medium of examination shall be ENGLISH only

Syllabus

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.

The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes.

Cutoff

The cut off score depends on difficulty level of exam, availability of seats, number of applicants, etc. Based on the cut-off score examination authority prepares the merit list and candidates are called for counselling.

Results

  • PU CET Result card 2017 can be downloaded from the Panjab University website. No separate Result Cards will be issued.
  • The result of the entrance test will be available on the University website. No separate Result Cards will be issued. Only the eligible candidates can apply for the admission.
  • The University will publish PU CET 2017 (U.G.) merit lists of the candidates for the following combinations of subjects:
  1. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  2. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  3. Physics, Chemistry and Biotechnology
  4. Physics, Chemistry and Computer Sciences
  5. Mathematics only.

Counselling

Candidates who are qualified in Panjab University Common Entrance Test will be called for the counselling process of PUCET 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

– Candidate who has passed the second year Pre-University or 12th standard or Equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology in respect of Engineering courses and Physics, Chemistry & Biology in respect of Medical and Dental courses as optional subjects and English as one of the language. It is mandatory, that the candidate has obtained not less then 50% of the aggregate marks or equivalent grade in the optional subjects is eligible for admission.

– 40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category for Medical, Dental and Engineering courses. (As declared by the Government of Karnataka from time to time) Not only candidates who have passed the above qualifying examination, but also those who have appeared for the qualifying examination and expecting results are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply

1) Online Application Form : It is available on the University website which can be filled and submitted.

2) Offline Application Form: It is available from the university website in the PDF format which can be download OR the candidate can directly get the application form the University office.

    • The candidates should fill the application form IN CAPITAL LETTERS
    • The candidate should leave a blank space between words.
    • The candidate can appear for any of the following combination of subjects, depending upon whether the candidate chooses BE or MBBS /BDS or both
      the courses for counseling, which the candidate has to specify in the application form.
      Physics, Chemistry , Mathematics (PCM)
      Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)
      Physics, Chemistry , Mathematics & Biology (PCMB)
      Accordingly the candidate has to tick any one of the option of subjects like PCM, PCB OR PCMB in which they wish to appear in the entrance examination.
    • Father Name, Date of Birth and other relevant information shall be as it appears in the 10+2 marks cards or equivalent.
    • The Candidate should indicate in the application form one centre where he/she wishes to appear for the Test (AIUGET – 2017)
    • The candidate should furnish the full and correct postal address ( in block letters) to which further correspondence required to be made. And also furnish e-mail ID and mobile no.
    • Candidate should affix / paste (do not staple or pin) a recent passport size photograph with in the space provided.
    • Candidate should affix his/her left hand thumb impression in the space provided.

Candidates are required to submit following
Enclosures: Following documents have to be enclosed along with the application form

(i) Self attested copies for SSLC / X Std. marks cards.
(ii) Self attested copies for PUC / HSC / XII Std., marks cards or certified copy of marks by the Principal.
(iii) Photocopy of Proof of Date of Birth. If it is not mentioned in the above marks cards.
(iv) In case of SC/ST/OBC category certificate in the prescribed form by the concerned Authority.
(v) Demand Draft in favour of “Registrar, SSAHE, Payable at Tumkur.
(Rs.2000/- for three subjects & Rs.2500/- for four subjects as non refundable processing fee).
(vi) Four (04) recent passport size Photograph. Photograph must be taken with name of the candidate ( as in application) and date of taking
photograph as shown below, other wise application of the candidate will be rejected.

Exam Pattern

      1. All the question papers are set in English and will be of objective type. Question paper is Physics and Chemistry will have 100 questions ( 120 min duration ) and that for Mathematics and Biology each question paper will have 50 questions ( 60 min. duration ).
      2. Each question paper will have 4 versions. The version code of the question paper will be boldly printed on the top right corner of the question paper.
      3. The candidate will have to make use of Optical Marks Reader ( OMR ) sheet as answer sheet which will be supplied along with question paper in the beginning of each test session to mark the correct answer.
      4. Each question will have four options. Among the four options provided against each question, only one option will be correct. The candidate will have to darken only one circle against the question in the OMR sheet using a ball point pen. Each correct answer will fetch one mark. There will be no negative marks.
