  • Age Of Candidate should not be more than 25 years.
  • For Admission to B.E. Or B.Tech Course Candidates should have cleared Class XII or its equivalent exam along with subjects namely Physics, Chemistry amd Maths.
  • For Admission To B.Sc (Nautical Sciences and B.E. (Marine Engineering), candidates should have secured 60% marks aggregate in PCM in 10+2. Candidate must have acquired 50% in English at class X or XII.

How to Apply

Offline Mode:

  • You can get application form from the university office locate at Chennai by cash payment.
  • You can also get the application via post by sending a DD of INR 850, application request letter and a self addressed envelope to the Vels University office Chennai as mentioned in the below contact details.
  • Fill the form legibly and send it to Vels University before the last date.

Online Mode:

  • You can apply online form their official portal www.velsuniv.ac.in
  • You have to create an ID and password first.
  • Now, go to VEE 2017 and apply online by reading the instructions carefully.
  • You have to make online payment of registration fee of INR 800.
  • You will receive the enrollment number after submitting the online registration.
  • It is advisable to take a print out of the confirmation page having your enrollment number for future reference until the selection process is over.

Exam Pattern

  • The VEE entrance examination paper will comprise of 100 objective type questions for a maximum of 100 marks, each question carrying one mark.
  • The exam duration is 90 minutes.
  • For B.E programs: The test paper consists of total 100 objective type question from the subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Fundamentals of Computing, and General knowledge.
  • For B.Pharm/Pharm. D: The test paper consists of total 100 objective type question in the topics such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • For MBA: The test paper consist of total 100 objective type question in the topics such as Language comprehension, mathematical skill, Analytical skill, Intelligence and critical reasoning and Indian & global Environment.
  • For MCA: The test paper consist of a total 100 objective type question in the topics such as Computer fundamentals (40), English communication (20), Mathematical skill (20) and general knowledge (20).
  • For M. Pharm/ Pharm. D (Post Baccalaureate): The test paper consist of a total 100 objective type question in the topics such as General knowledge (50) and 50% from Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacy practice, Pharmaceutical analysis and Pharmaceutical.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 40% marks in the concerned subject. For the courses where the admission is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage of the group subjects should be 40% of marks. For admission into M.Ed., the aggregate marks in B.Ed. should be 50% and the aggregate marks in degree/PG/ should be 45%. For admission into M.P.Ed., the aggregate marks in B.P.Ed. should be 40%. In the case of M.Sc. 5-year integrated courses the candidate should have passed the qualifying exam intermediate/equivalent with M.P.C/Bi.P.C with a minimum of 50% marks. For admission into Bachelor of Fine Arts, the candidate should have passed intermediate/equivalent with any subjects/3 years Diploma in Fine Arts. For admission into P.G. Diploma in Theatre Arts which is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage in the group subject should be of 40% of marks. Pass is sufficient for SC/ST candidates for writing the entrance test of any course.
  • The candidates who have appeared for the final year qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for the tests. But they should have passed the qualifying examination with requisite minimum marks by the time the YVUCET-2017 admissions take place.
  • Candidates who qualify themselves in the YVUCET-2017, but do not have the requisite percentage of marks in the qualifying examination or not satisfying the subject eligibility requirement are not eligible for admission.
  • Candidates who secure a pass in the qualifying examinations in advanced supplementary examinations 2017-18 will not be eligible for admission during the academic year 2017-18.
  • However, candidates qualifying in instant examinations may have a chance to get an admission in the academic year 2019-18 out of the unfilled seats before the schedule of closure of the admissions.

How to Apply

  • Online Submission: Application should be submitted online in the website www.yvudoa.in. After filling the application the candidate should submit a print out of the online application (for details read the instructions given on the first page of this booklet)
  • If the candidates apply for a particular test and if found to be not eligible for that test, the test fee paid will not be refunded. Hence the candidates are advised to go through thoroughly the eligibility conditions given in the instruction booklet before applying.
  • The print out of the Application with the proof of fee paid should be submitted in the examination hall at the time of entrance examination.

Exam Pattern

– There is a prescribed syllabus for each entrance test. The syllabus of each test consists of Section-A for 30 questions, Section-B for 30 questions and Section-C for 40 questions except for Tests.

– Each entrance test will be of 90 minutes duration with 100 multiple choice type questions. Each question carries one mark

– The question paper will be in English for Computer Science, while language tests will be in the respective languages. For all other tests, the question papers will be in both English and Telugu

Syllabus

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

  • Hall tickets will not be sent by post. Candidates have to download the hall tickets from the website by entering the application number given in the student copy of the bank challan.
  • YVUCET-2017 hall ticket is to be produced at the time of admission. The candidates are advised to preserve the hall ticket carefully.

Results

The YVUCET 2017 results may be available to check online from Second / Third week of June month. Candidates have to check the YVUCET 2017 Results through online official website.

Counselling

Subject wise counselling schedule will be notified in the website one week before the commencement of counselling.

For the candidates who have successfully cleared the YVUCET 2017 which will conduct in the month of June 2017 will be informed that their results have been uploaded on the internet in the month of June 2016 on the official website of YVUCET. And then the authorities of Yogi Vemana University will soon announce the date of YVUCET Counselling 2016. The Counselling for the year 2017 is likely to start by the end of June 2017. Counselling

Shortlisted candidates Delhi CEE will not be intimated regarding counselling through separate letters. They are supposed to check the list and the date which will be available on website. Selected candidates have to carry their original mark-sheets and certificates at the time of counselling and if they fail to carry their original certificates and mark-sheets their admission will be cancelled. Downloaded mark-sheets and certificates are not allowed. The counselling process would start tentatively in last week of July 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Indian citizens of a maximum age of 26 years are eligible for application at ISAT. However, the privileged applicants are given a relaxation up to an additional 4 years.
  • The 10+2 Examinations or any equivalent examination must have cleared from a recognized Board / University.
  • Appearing for JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) is absolutely necessary for the applicants. In the Advanced examination, General category applicants must score an aggregate of 20% with at least 5% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics individually. OBC category applicants must score an aggregate of 18% with at least 4.5% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics individually. SC / ST / PwD category applicants must score an aggregate of 10% with at least 2.5% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics individually.

How to Apply

IIST online registration for PG courses has been started from 7th April, 2017, whereas the registration for UG courses commenced from 8th June, 2017 and continue till the last week of June, 2017. The candidates applying for online application in IIST 2017 have to register themselves through the official portal of IIST 2017. After registration, candidates need to pay the application fee through Challan (for Indian candidates) and DD (for NRI candidates).

Exam Pattern

  • For General Category: candidate must have secured, at least, 74 marks out of 372 (i.e. 20% marks out of the total), along 6 marks out of 124 in each subject (i.e 5% marks out of the total)
  • For Other Backward Class (Non- Creamy Layer) Category: candidates must score minimum of 66 marks out of 372 (i.e. 18% marks out of total) and should also secure, at least, 7 marks out of 124 (i.e. 4.5% marks out of total) in all Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • For SC, ST and PwD Category: candidate must have secured, at least, 37 marks out of 372 (i.e. 10% marks out of the total), along 4 marks out of 124 in each subject (i.e 5% marks out of the total)

Counselling

The counselling of IIST consists of the following steps:

  • Candidates whose names are mentioned in the list are required to register for counselling.
  • The admit card must be produced at the time of IIST counselling.
  • Candidates have to attend the counselling in person and any one parent (compulsory) should accompany them.
  • Parents or guardian must carry a valid photo ID proof while accompanying their wards.
  • Candidates must carry the above mentioned documents for verification during IIST 2017 counselling.

1. Minimum Marks :
