DU JAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Though there are no restrictions regarding the Candidate’s age, DU JAT requires the applicants to have fulfilled a minimum score of 60% in the qualifying exam. Application from abroad can also apply provided they register for JAT 2020 through Foreign Students Registry. All the eligibility Criterion Set by DU JAT 2020 is mentioned below
- Age Criteria: There is no Minimum Age Bar as per the ordinance- I of the University.
- Educational Criteria: The minimum pass percentage for all the general category candidates is 60%. The other requirements along with minimum pass percentage and different categories for the qualifying exam could be found here.
- Nationality: They will have to register themselves with Foreign Students Registry. Admission should be done on individual merit.

DU JAT Selection Procedure 2020 –
Delhi University will commence the DU JAT selection procedure 2020 post declaration of result. The tentative month for the start of DU JAT 2020 selection procedure is July 2020. Delhi University will organize the counselling process in offline mode. On the basis of the result to be declared soon, Delhi University will call candidates for further rounds. In this article of DU JAT selection procedure 2020, candidates will be able to check the important dates, admission procedure, counselling, previous year selection procedure and frequently asked questions. DU JAT will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of Delhi University soon. Candidates willing to take admission in undergraduate courses offered by Delhi University. Normalization Process of DU JAT 2020
Selection procedure will begin after DU JAT 2020 cutoff is released. The DU JAT 2020 selection procedure will be done on the basis of the normalization process. Total marks obtained by the candidate in all sections will be summed up in order to arrive at the raw score. The scores obtained in DU JAT 2020 will later be normalized with the method of equi-percentile. Once that is done, the scaled score will be converted into a percentage. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the percentage received by the candidates. The percentile marks will be used as an input to prepare the final list of merit. The higher the percentage, the better will be the chances of getting admission in selected college. Selection procedure of DU JAT 2020 will start once the normalization of scores is done by Delhi University.

How does the DU JAT Selection Procedure work?
Keeping in mind the previous year’s selection procedure of DU JAT 2020, it is likely that Delhi University will follow the same this year as well. Below mentioned step wise process of DU JAT selection procedure is can be checked to avoid any query:
Step 1: Visit the official website
To enrol themselves in DU JAT participating colleges 2020, candidates will be required to first visit the official website of Delhi University.
Step 2: Select order of preference
All candidates will be required to state their order of preferences of course and colleges while filling the application form online. It will be mandatory for all candidates to fill at least one preference of the course and college while filling the DU JAT 2020 registration form.
Step 3: No preference category
Candidates may also choose to not select any further additional preference by selecting “No Preference” from the drop-down menu which will be available for both course and college fields. Candidates must note that the preference selected by them can not be altered.
Step 4: Rank scored
The final allotment of colleges will be done to candidates on the basis of ranks scored in DU MAT 2020 by them as well as the availability of seats in that particular course and college.
Counselling: Selection Procedure of DU JAT 2020
On the basis of DU JAT 2020 selection procedure, candidates will be called for seat allotment on the basis of ranks received and their personal preferences. Higher rank/score candidates will be called first for the counselling session. It is most likely that after the first round of counselling session, Delhi University will release a new cut off list on the official website for the admission in the remaining seats. During the selection procedure of DU JAT 2020, candidates will be required to bring a list of documents with them. Participating institutes of DU JAT 2020 will conduct the further rounds. For taking admission in BMS, BBA (FIA) and B.A (Hns.) in Business Economics candidates will be required to bring the following documents with them:

How to Fill DU JAT 2020 Application Form?
There will be no offline mode to apply for DU JAT 2020. Candidates can fill the exam form by following the steps listed below:
Step 1 – Creating an Account
Candidates will have to create a login id and password with their valid email id.
Step 2 – Filling up the Form
Once the Login ID and Password is created by candidates, they will need to login into their account and fill in the details as mentioned below
- Their name
- Their date of birth
- Address for correspondence
- Contact details
- Their marks in the class 10th board exam
- Their marks in the class 12th board exam
- Annual family exam etc.
Guidelines for uploading photograph and signature
- Candidates have to upload a scanned image of his/her passport size photograph and signature as per the required specifications set by DU JAT conducting body. The scanner resolution should be set to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch) for optimum results.

- Candidates need to upload a recently clicked passport size photograph, It should ideally be a coloured image and clicked against a light-coloured or white background so that they are clearly visible
- The image should be front-faced photo without any red-eye.
- In case the candidate is wearing spectacles, he/she must make sure that there is no reflection on the glasses and their eyes can be seen clearly.
- Caps, hats and dark glasses will not be acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed however it must not cover the candidate’s face.
- Dimensions of the picture should be 100 x 120 pixels.
- The size of the file should be between 5 kb to 10 kb.
- File format should be in .jpg/ .jpeg
Signature Image
- The signature should be done on white paper in black inked pen only.
- The dimensions of the signature image should be 140 x 60 pixels.
- The size of the file should be between 1 kb and 12 kb.
- The file format should be in .jpg/ .jpeg
Step 3 – Selecting the course
Candidates will now have to select the courses they are applying for. They can choose from:
- Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance and Investment Analysis (BBA, FIA)
- Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
- BA (H) Business Economics
Step 4 – Paying the fee
Candidates will now have to pay the application fee based on the number of subjects they have applied for and their category. Payment has to be done in online mode only. Candidates can opt for a credit card, a debit card or net banking facility to pay the application fees.
Fee Structure
Application fee for DU JAT 2020 will differ from category to category. Candidates can note down the fee structure of DU JAT 2020 from the table below:

Candidates will have to pay the fee through online payment gateway only. They can use a credit card, debit card or net banking facility for the payment of fees.
Step 5 – Final steps
An acknowledgement slip will be generated after the successful payment of application fees. Candidates will have to take a print out of this for future reference.
If a candidate is unable to complete the entire application process in one go because of any issue, they can save details as a draft and log out of their account. The form will be saved and candidates can log in again later and can fill up the complete form and make the payment. Candidates must note that payment of the fees is the full and final step of the application process. Once the fees are paid, no changes will be allowed in the application form.
Candidates will have to carry the printout of the acknowledgement slip for all future reference related to the admission through DU JAT 2020 till the time of the admission to candidates’ preferred and chosen college.
