AIIMS MBBS Admission 2020 – For the academic year 2020, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences has solicited applications for admission to the MBBS Course based on the NEET-UG 2020 score.
Admission to AIIMS, New Delhi, and eight other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Rishikesh Raipur, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh), and Nagpur (Maharashtra) is by a common medical admission exam administered by the National Testing Agency.
Duration of Course
- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences’ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) programme requires a minimum of five and a half academic years of study, including one year of mandatory internship.
Number of Seats
- Admission to the MBBS course is provided in 125 (Hundred Twenty-five) seats for Indian nationals and 7 (Seven) seats for foreign nationals. There are 19 (nineteen) seats set aside for Scheduled Castes, 9 (nine) seats set apart for Scheduled Tribes, 34 (thirty-four) seats set up for Other Backward Classes, and 12 (twelve) seats set aside for Economically Weaker Section a.

Age Limit
- As of December 31st of the year of admission, you must have reached or will reach the age of 17 (seventeen) years (2020)
- Applicants who were born on or after January 2, 2004 are ineligible to apply.

Essential Academic Qualification
Candidate must have completed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination from a recognized university/board in any Indian state with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects. Candidates who have completed 10+2 with Biology as an extra subject are also eligible to apply for the MBBS Entrance Exam.
Candidates who have taken or will take the qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology as their main subjects and expect to pass with the required percentage of marks (as indicated in Sl No. 03 below) are also eligible to apply for and take the Competitive Entrance Examination.
Their application will be considered only if they can show verifiable proof of passing the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.

AIIMS MBBS Admission 2020 Application Process
- Interested candidates must apply online exclusively at https://www.aiimsexams.org/.
- Candidates must fill out the NEET 2020 application form to apply for admission to AIIMS campuses’ MBBS programmes.
- NTA exclusively releases the NEET 2020 application form online.
- Candidates must first register online for NEET by submitting their basic information. Candidates must submit a current email id and mobile number for NEET registration because NTA only communicates crucial NEET updates via electronic means.
- After completing the registration process, candidates can fill out their application form, choose a test, add images, and pay the appropriate application price.
- Selected candidates must register on the website www.antiragging.in / www.amanmovement.org, print a copy, and send the self-attested copy to the Academic Section within seven days.
