Institute of Management Studies, Roorkee made a modest beginning in 1996, with a focused objective of bringing about intellectual awakening amongst the youth and to prepare manpower capable of contributing effectively towards economic development. The IMS campus is spread over an area of 4.5 acres. The Institution have well furnished classrooms, equipped with latest audio- video training aids & well stocked library with the latest books and publications in Management and computers. Centralized Computer labs with latest Softwares and Internet facilities. Superb placement profile. IMS Roorkee has in very little time built a solid academic reputation for its challenging curriculum and highly-rated degree programs. IMS Roorkee is clear in its commitment to student success and our pursuit of excellence is evident from our infrastructure, facilities and the quality of individual candidates. About MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The University of Kumaun has instituted a comprehensive Two-Year Full Time Programme leading to the Degree of MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) consisting of four semsster. The Kumaun University Master of Business Administration (KUMBA) programme has been approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) and also aided by the University Grants Commission ( UGC), New Delhi.The visiting/vuest faculties have been invited from premier institutes like the IIM, XLRI, IIT, Panjab University and Delhi School Of Economics, Faculty Of Management Studies, University of Delhi. Bhimtal also boasts various production facilities of premier Indian companies and in the vicinityu of the lake city industrial areas like Ranibagh, Rudrapur and Kashipur are located which facilitates industrial tours and corporate visits.KUMBA is all set to celebrate its second anniversary. The two years have witnessed remarkable changes in every sphere. From a modest beginning in Nov. 1997, the DEMS today boasts of being the leader in management education in the entire region of Uttarakhand.
