The university is fully funded by the NOIDA and GNIDA (undertakings of the UP government) and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

About Ishan Institute of Management Technology IIMT, Noida

Ishan Institute of Management & Technology was established in 1994 by ‘Ishan Educational Research Society’ in Delhi, with the main objective of developing a centre for excellence in management & computer sciences. The first session of the Institute was inaugurated by Hon’ble Sh. Santosh Mohan Dev, the then Minister of Steel, Govt. of India, under the Presidentship of Sh. Laeta Umbrey, M.R (Lok Sabha). In a short period of time the Institute has built an impressive campus together with separate hostels for boys and girls, a playground and a Gym for them. The campus was inaugurated by Shri P. A. Sangma, then Hon’ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha in 1996. Since then the Institute have the priveledge of visits of several high profile dignitaries like H.E. Shri Suraj Bhan. Governor of U.P. Shri HE Bhai Mahavir, Governor of M.P., Shri K.C. Pant, Vice Chairman,Planning Commission, Govt. of India., Shri Yashwant Sinha, Prof. M.G.K. Menon, H.E. Pak Miyangu Ambassador of North Korea etc.

The Ishan Institute of Management and Technology is a premier institute engaged in providing the environment necessary to facilitate advance learning in the management of variables. The infrastructure of the institute, facilities, course design and teaching methodology are designed keeping in view its commitment to achieve excellence in the field of technical education. Situated in a sprawling pollution free campus of 44,000 sq. mts. land it covers the prime area of Institutional complex in 300 acres land of Greater Noida.
