About Institute of Engineering Technology, Bareilly

The Institute of Engineering & Technology was started in the M.J.P. Rohilkhand University campus in Jan. 1996 and presently has 6 engineering departments of Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Computer Science & IT, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, B.Pharm and MCA. The institute has signed a MOU with IIT Delhi for academic interaction under which toppers of V sem. go to IIT Delhi for one semester for studies and earn credit their.

The Institute had visiting professors in nearly all departments last year from Institutions like IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, Rourkee, IT BHU, MRREC Allahabad, Kumaon University etc. The institute has now fully functional laboratories, workshop and library for all the departments and all the departments have their own building.

Amongst the management institutes in India, GHS- IMR is relatively a new arrival; never the less, it is persuing its mission of excellence with great zeal and perseverance in the area of management. It has been established with the benevolence and support of JK Organization, Kanpur. The management is in the hands of governing Council comprising eminent industrialists and educationists. It is Associate and Visiting Faculty under the distinguished Director providing excellent career opportunities.Both full- time and part time programmes have been approved by the all India Council for technical Education, ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management PGDBM is equivalent to Master of Business Administration Degree of Indian universities.

The institute offers the following Management Programmes :-

2Years full – time programme (Trimester Basis) 60 seats

3 years Part time (Evening) Programme (Trimester Basis) 60 seats

NOTES:- 1- 5% Seats are reserved for NRI/NRI-Sponsored Candidates

2- 5% Seats are reserved for Company Sponsored Candidates

Fee for General Candidates :

Fee for company Sponsored Candidates : Rs. 1,05,000/- for a period of 3 years. (To be deposited in three instalments)

Separate Application Forms are required for each programme

Eligibility

For 2- years full time programme: A graduate Degree (10+2+3 year system) in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates who are appearing in the final Examination of this session for Bachelor’s Degree must produce a certificate from the Registrar/Controller of examination of the institution that their examinations would positively be over by 30.6. Failing which they would not be allowed to appear in the group Discussion and interview. Such candidates must note that they must produce graduation result by 30th September. Failing which their admission in the PGDBM part-I of the Session would be cancelled.

Admission Criteria

The written test (MAT) is to be held at over 60 Centres in India and abroad on Sunday May 17, for 2-year full time Programme. Candidates high in merit in written test will be called for group Discussion and interview at Kanpur in June.

For NRI/NRI Sponsored /company Sponsored Candidates: No written admission test: admission basis: Relative Merit on the basis of Academic index, Group Discussion and interview. Fee for NRI/NRI Sponsored Candidates: US $ 3000 or its rupee equivalent per year. Fee for Company Sponsored Candidates: Rs. 1,50,000/- for a period of two years. (To be deposited 50% at the time of admission & 50% in the beginning of the IV Trimester) The fees for above two categories do not include boarding and loding expenses. Separate Application from is available for Rs. 600/-.

For 3 years part time (evening) Programme: (General / Company Sponsored Candidates) A Graduate Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years work experience, as employed/Self employed person.

No written Admission Test : Admission Basis : Relative Merit on the basis of academic index, Group Discussion and interview including short written test. Candidates must be employed at Kanpur and have attained the age of 21 years at the time of admission. Separate Application form is available for Rs. 450/-.
