Department of Management Studies is a well-known platform imparting management education, under state University, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur (Rajasthan). It is a co-educational institute offering Post Graduate and Research Courses in Management Education and Research since 1968. The MBA Programme was initiated under the tutelage of Department of Commerce, by Late Prof. D.N. Elhance. It is one of the earliest MBA Programmes to be started in India on the line of I.I.M.s. It has been a pioneer department imparting management education in India. Since then, it has always had the pleasure to be known as “An Enterprise of Paramount Excellence”. The development over the years speaks volumes about the quality of education imparted in the institute. This is also well reflected in the faith the companies have shown in the Department as they frequently visit the institute for recruitment.

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. The primary motive of BITS is to “train young men and women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information”. The Institute is a dream come true of its founder late Mr G.D.Birla – an eminent industrialist, a participant in Indian freedom struggle and a close associate of the Father of Indian Nation late Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi). What started in early 1900s as a small school, blossomed into a set of colleges for higher education, ranging from the Humanities to Engineering until 1964 when all these colleges amalgamated to culminate into a unique Indian University of International standing. This university was christened as the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, known to many as BITS, Pilani.

About Malaviya Regional Engineering College MREC, Jaipur

is one of the seventeen Regional Engineering Colleges established in the country by the Government of India. The college is a joint venture of the Government of India and the State Government of Rajasthan. It was established in the year of 1963 with a provision to start five year Bechelor of Engineering Programme in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Metallurgical Engineering. The duration of the B.E. Degree courses was changed to four years from the academic session 1983-84. The administration and management affairs of the college are vested in a Socity named as “THE MALAVIYA REGIONAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE SOCITY”.

The college is under the administrative control of a Board of Governors. It is financed by the Central Government and the State Government. The college is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan for the purpose of examination and the award of Degrees. This is otherwise an Autonomous college of the Unversity of Rajasthan. The college was set up with the objective of providing facalities for higher education,research and traning in various areas of engineering and technology.Since its inception,the college is commited to the cause of technical upgradation of the State in perticular and of the country in general.
