Prof. Ram Meghe Institute of Technology & Research, has been established in the year 1983 on no grant basis at Badnera as the outcome of hard efforts made by Hon. Shri. Ram Meghe, the President of the “Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society.” The Institute is affiliated to S. G. B. Amravati University, Amravati, approved by D.T.E. (M.S.) & A.I.C.T.E. (New Delhi). The institute has a culture of academic excellence. The result is excellent & student score higher percentage of marks.” “Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society” was conceived to be the fountain head of education for a vast rural area of Badnera & Amravati Talukas in the year 1965. The founder of the Society Hon. Shri. Prof. Ram Meghe had a mission & aimed that this institution would develop into one of the most excellent academic centers of teaching learning and research in India which would cater not only to the people of this area but also that of country.
The Society is now growing at a fast rate under the able guidance of Hon. Shri.Sundeep Meghe ( President, VYWS) and members of society. Basic Qualification: In order to secure admission to first year of three-year full time MCA course, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria;

1. For the academic year 2010-11, both the Maharashtra State and OMS candidates who have appeared / appearing for the CAT 2009 are considered eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria mentioned in the Information Brochure. Such candidates are also required to procure the Information Brochure alongwith Application kit and submit & confirm the Online Application form.
2. For admission to MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM course, the candidate is required to score minimum 30 marks in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2010. Candidates seeking admission on the basis of CAT 2009 are required to obtain minimum equivalent score.
