The knowledge and skills required for planning; designing and building Complex Application Software Systems are highly valued in all industrial sectors including business, health, education and the arts. The basic objective of the education of the Masters programme in Computer Application (M.C.A) is to provide to the country a steady stream of the necessary knowledge, skills and foundation for acquiring a wide range of rewarding careers into the rapidly expanding world of the Information Technology.
Application areas include transaction processing (such as order processing, airline reservations, banking system), accounting functions, sales analysis, games, forecasting and simulation, database management, decision support and data communications.
The M.C.A program is a mix of computer-related and general business courses. The computer related courses use microcomputers to introduce standard techniques of programming; the use of software packages including word processors, spreadsheets and databases; system analysis and design Tools. The general business courses include the functional areas of management like accounting, sales, purchase, inventory, and production.

The Mechanical Engineering Department carries out its mission with a focus on various areas and our faculties make a dedicated group of engineering professionals. The Department of Mechanical Engineering has following labs : Basic Mechanical Engineering, Applied Thermodynamics, Engineering Graphics Hall, CAD Cam Lab, Theory of machines, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Metallurgy, I.C. Engine & Automobile, Heat Transfer.
The department works with the Mission to provide our students with a perfect blend of intellectual and practical experiences, which helps them to serve our society and address a variety of needs. At the end of our program, students are prepared for entry-level work as mechanical engineers as well as for the post-graduate study in mechanical engineering or in another discipline, where a fundamental engineering background constitutes a desirable foundation.

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Department is highly concerned with advanced changes in technology and accordingly updating laboratories, library facility and appropriate skill enhancement of teaching faculty. The department believes in consistent Student-Industry interface and all round growth by organizing
industrial visits as study tours and personality development programs. It is normal practice to host Seminar, organize workshops, and conduct guest lectures of eminent personalities in the field.
The Department is conducting value added training on MATLAB,MultiSim/ Proteus,PLC,PC Maintenance ,VLSI Design etc; to enhance industry oriented practical skills of the students under the activity of Indira finishing School Career Development Program (IFCDP).
E&Tc Dept. has started “IETE students chapter” which will motivate our students for paper presentations, project competition, and various technical activities at state and national level. In near future ,we are planning for opening IEEE students chapter.

The department has 4 Laboratories namely :Oracle Laboratory, Programming Laboratory, Operating System Laboratory, Internet Facility Centre for Second and Third year engineering.The department has been sanctioned an additional intake of 60 students making total 120 from the A.Y 2009-2010.
Computer Engineering department believes in consistent student industry interface and thereby consistently organizes many seminars, workshops and guest lectures of eminent personalities in the IT field.
