Eligibility Criteria

– As per AICTE the eligibility criterion for admission to Engineering is 50% in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). Further, the qualifying degree (Professional courses) obtained under distance mode must have AICTE approval.

Please note that this is a Graduate level 3-year program (UG) in Pharmacy with B.Pharmacy as entry qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. Candidates qualified in APPGECET 2017 only will be eligible for admission into the course on the basis of merit. Eligibility:
1. The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2. The Candidate should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
3. The Candidate should satisfy the local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the regulations of admission.

Paper Pattern

– Test is of two hour duration with 120 multiple choice objective type questions, carrying one mark for each question. The cut-off mark in the Common Entrance Test is 25%, in case of SC/ST there is no minimum marks.

– The examination will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon in the morning session and 2.00PM to 4.00 PM for the afternoon sessions as per the Time Table given in Test Schedule.

– The Question Papers will be in English only

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

The Hall-Tickets are to be downloaded from the website http://www.appgecet.org/appgecetrc.aspx. Without Hall-Tickets the candidate will not be allowed into the test centre.

The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.

The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes.

Cutoff

Candidates have who score more than cut off Marks would feature in the merit list. Candidates names included in the merit list will be called for counselling rounds. Candidates can check previous years cut off marks to get an idea of Cut off for the current year as cut off will be declared after the declaration of Result.

CG PET is known as the Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test. The CGPET is a state level entrance exam conduct for the admission in the engineering colleges in Chhattisgarh state. The exam is conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. The exam is conducted for admission in various courses in engineering colleges in Chhattisgarh state. The various courses which the CG-PET provides are undergraduate engineering courses, post graduate engineering courses and diploma courses. Eligibility Criteria

– Candidate should at least be 17 years old at the time of applying for CG PET 2020

– Candidates should have secured at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are mandatory subjects in qualifying exam. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, the aggregate in the qualifying exam should not be less than 40%. Candidate must have written the qualifying exam from a recognized Institute.

– Candidate must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh. He/ she should have a domicile or any other document to proof their residency.

In CG PET seats are reserved for candidates belonging to various categories. Reservation of seat will be as below.

Candidates can fill the online application form of CG PET 2020 after ensuring that they are eligible for the programs. Enter correct and verifiable data in the CG PET PPHT Application form including name, gender, domicile, category, contact information, upload images. Paper Pattern

CG PET 2020 will be a 3 hours exam in which marks will be deducted for the wrong answer. In total, there are 150 questions in the test paper . All the questions in the exam will be cover the concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates should know the exam pattern before starting their preparation so that they can understand the marking scheme, type of question, sections, level of difficulty. Admit Card

CG PET admit card has been issued in the online mode. Candidates will be able to download it from the official website of CG PET. Applicants can download the admit card to know the details of their exam center and roll number.

In any case, candidates will not receive the admit card through post or any other medium. Candidates will not be allowed to write CG PET 2020, if they fail to produce their admit card. Candidates should secure it carefully till the end of the admission process as it may be required anytime.

Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2020 Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria

The Tripura joint Entrance Examinations (TJEE) Board was formed for Admission to Engineering Degree Colleges, Medical Colleges, and other professional degree courses.Born out of a concept of holding a common admission test for the Engineering colleges and Medical Colleges. The basic purpose was to select candidates for consideration for admission to the Colleges on the basis of the results of a single competitive examination, which would also lead to saving of time, energy and expenditure on the part of the candidates in appearing at number of entrance tests. The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) was set up by Higher Education Department by framing the Examination Regulation Part – I Of Tripura Board Of Joint Entrance Examination. This Examination Regulation has been amended from time to time by the Government. The Board, an organization of Directorate of Higher Education, is constituted by the Government of Tripura every year.

The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination conducts the Joint Entrance Examination at nine centres / venues of Agartala, Udaipur, Kailashahar and Dharmanagar for admission of students in Engineering, Medical, Technological and other professional degree courses against seats reserved for the state of Tripura and also the seats of different State Institutions. The Board is conducting the examination through Optical Marks Recognition /Reading (OMR) system in place of the conventional mode of examination. However the pattarn of questions will continue to be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.

Eligibility Criteria

(a) Candidate must be a citizen of India.

(b) Candidate must be a permanent resident of Tripura and either the candidate or his/her parent must have been residing in the state of Tripura continuously for not less than 10 (ten) years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination, 2019. Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate of parent (s) of the candidate who has been studying / studied outside of Tripura must be submitted.

(c) Candidate must have passed / appeared / due to appear in the year of Joint Entrance Examination at the Higher Secondary Examination of Tripura Board of Secondary Education / Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent examination with the subjects in which he / she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Examination.

(d) Children of All India Services Officers borne in Manipur-Tripura cadre and the children of the employees of State Government posted outside of Tripura will be eligible to appear at the examination irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura.

(e) In case of Ward of Ex-Serviceman, either the candidate or his/her parents must have been staying in Tripura continuously for not less than 5 (five) years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination and the candidate must have passed or appeared / due to appear at the H.S.(+ 2) Examination or equivalent in the year Joint Entrance Examination from any institution of Tripura with subjects in which he/she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Examination. Children of serving defence personnel (Army / Navy / Air Force) hailing from Tripura are also eligible to appear at the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination provided that their children should have stayed in Tripura continuously for not less than 5 (five) years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination of Tripura and that the candidate must have passed or appeared / due to appear at the H.S. Examination or equivalent Examination in the year of Joint Entrance Examination from any institution of Tripura with subjects in which he / she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Examination.

(f) If a candidate is allotted a seat in the past inside or outside the State on the basis of the result of Joint Entrance Examination he/she shall not be eligible to appear at the Joint Entrance Examination this year or subsequent year unless he/she surrendered the allotted seat in writing within specific time to the appropriate authority. However, if any amendment / change is / are made after issue of this Notification, the same shall be notified as per procedure.

Reservation

Tripura JEE 2020 also has some seats reserved for the candidates belonging to the special categories. These reserved seats are for the candidates from Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.The reservation is done as per the inbuilt provisions of the State Government of Tripura. For allotment of seats in Engineering Programmes, 31% reservation for Scheduled Tribe is firmly followed.

How to Apply

– The Application Form & Prospectus can be obtained by postal request from the office of the TRIPURA BOARD OF JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION by sending Postal Order of Rs. 90/- (Rupees ninety only) per Form & Prospectus in favour of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, payable at Agartala Head Post Office. All postal requests must be accompanied by a self addressed envolope of 30 cm x 13 cm size and a postage stamp of Rs. 5/- affixed on it.

– However, receiving & submission time for the date will be extended upto 5.00 PM. Applicants must enclose the printed envelope supplied with application form after writting his/her postal address and affixing postal stamp of rupees five (Rs.5/-) on the specified space on it for despatching Admit Card failingwhich the Admit Card may not be despatched or posted. Deposition of fees through challan should be made during
the period positively through any branch of SBI. No application other than the aforesaid period shall be entertained by the Board.

Syllabus

 

Paper Pattern

Candidates willing to appear in Tripura Joint Entrance Examination have to attempt questions of four different subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Each of the subjects of Examination will be of 100 marks. Candidates are advised to thoroughly go through the information regarding question pattern and mode of examination.

Candidates seeking admission to Engineering / Technological Degree Courses (Group – A) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and those seeking admission to Medical / Agricultural / Veterinary / Fishery and other such courses, (Group-B) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Those who desiring to take chances in both of the above groups will have to appear in all the four subjects (Group-C).

– Four different subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology will have four different Question Papers/Test Booklets.

– Full marks for each question paper of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology will be 100 marks.

– Duration of Examination of each paper will be 2 hours.

– The questions of the examination will be framed on the basis of the Syllabi of Tripura Joint Entrance Examination which is in force w.e.f. 2019.

– The syllabus for each subject is divided into 10 Modules. A Module carries 10 marks.

– Question paper for each subject will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.

– There will be 50 (fifty) compulsory MCQs, taking 5 (five) questions from each Module for each subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

– Each question will carry 2 (two) marks. Total marks for a question paper will be 100 (50 x 2) for each subject.

– Each question will have four options (i.e. A,B,C,D) out of which the correct option (A/B/C/D) is only to be selected.

– After selecting the correct answer the candidate will have to mark the corresponding letter (i.e. A/B/C/D) in appropriate space provided in OMR Answer Sheet with blue or black ball point pen.

– No mark will be deducted for wrong answer

Question Papers

– Each subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology will have a Text Booklet/Question paper containing 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

– Every question paper has a particular Series (A/B/C) mentioned on the front page which the candidate must carefully write at the appropriate place on the OMR Answer Sheet and also in the Attendance Sheet.

– If the appropriate series is not mentioned in OMR Sheet, the machine will not be able to recognize the correct answer. In that case error may arise in evaluation of OMR Sheet.

– During the examination the candidate will be provided with a Question Paper/Test Booklet and an OMR Sheet for answer. First he / she will have to fill up the useful information on the OMR sheet like, Enrolment Number, Test Booklet Series, and name of Subject. Please note that if these information are not provided on the OMR sheet or the sheet contains error, the computer will not be able to recognize the answer.

Admit Card

TJEE Medical 2020 Admit Card- Admit Card of TJEE Medical 2020 has been dispatched to the student’s physical address by the third week of March. It must be noted that admit card will be based on the information provided by the candidate on TJEE Medical 2020 application form. Candidates with an invalid TJEE Medical 2020 admit card or without a admit card will not be allowed to appear in the Joint Entrance Exam.

Results

The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination publishes its examination result usually in the first week of June every year. The Board shall publish Merit list on the basis of the merit. This list includes the candidates who will qualify in the examination as per criteria fixed by the Board on consideration of all the aspects. It will be published through various media including Board’s website. The Board does not keep any provision for post publication review at any stage and so will not entertain any such application in this regard.

The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the subjects, Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Mathematics (M), Biology (B) as per his/ her option. For example, for a candidate, who opted for PCM grpup, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics will be considered; while for PCB group, Physics, Chemistry & Biology will be judged. In case of tie following successive steps will be adopted as per norms:

Here, DOB means the Date of Birth of a candidate. Senior will be given the preference in merit position as per norms.

Counseling

Tripura JEE 2020 counseling is done after the merit list is out. It will be done in the offline mode. For the counseling, the candidates meeting the merit scores are to register themselves for the counseling online through the official website.

The counseling will be mainly held in five steps. These steps are explained below:

– Rank Announcement: In this step the rank of the candidate is announced so that he can come up with his documents. This is done when all the candidates arrive for the counseling at the decided venue.

– Document Verification: This includes the verification of all the documents required at the time of counseling. The candidate must arrive along with the documents required. Candidate with any document not available will not be allotted seat.

– Selection of Institute and Branch: At this stage the candidates has to fill college of his choice and the branch. There is no upper limit for filling the choice. Candidate can fill as much choice as he wants.

– Allotment process: After the choices are filled and locked, candidates are allotted as per their ranks. If the candidate does not want the seat allotted to him, can submit it immediately. The seat will be allotted to any other candidate

– Admission process: This is the last step for counseling. Here after seat allotment, admission process finally starts. Candidate now reports at the institute regarding the further payment of fee and other process.

Eligibility Criteria

– Admission to professional courses in State of Goa is open to Indian nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria under various categories. Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category.

– An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have competed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year.

– An applicant for Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have appeared and obtained valid score at the Goa Common Entrance Test GCET conducted by Government of Goa for the year of admission. GCET score of the previous year/s shall not be valid.

– For Medicine and Dentistry Degree courses, minimum GCET score should be 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category.) aggregate in specified subjects. No minimum limit is specified for other courses. An applicant for Degree Course in Architecture must have appeared and obtained valid score at NATA conducted by Council of Architecture.

– An applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Goa Board or an examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other examination, which in scope and standard, is deemed to be equivalent to the H.S.S.C.
examination of Goa Board, and must have obtained the minimum percentage of marks in the specific subjects, as prescribed for the admission to respective professional courses, as under.

For Engineering Program
For being eligible to seek admission to Engineering Degree Programs at Second Year/Third Semester Level included in this prospectus, an applicant must fulfil the following criteria:
– The candidate must be an Indian National
– The candidate must have passed from Polytechnics or colleges in the State of Goa, or as a Goa State nominee, under GOI seats or reciprocal arrangement, if passed Diploma from other States
– Candidate must have passed the Diploma in Engineering in the relevant branch with minimum of 45%* (40%* in case of SC/ST/OBC) aggregate marks at the – Diploma course exam conducted by the Goa Board of Technical
– Education or an equivalent exam, conducted by a recognised Board of Technical Education in India or abroad

For Pharmacy Program
– Candidate must be an Indian National

– Candidate must have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 45%* (40%* in case of SC/ST/OBC#) aggregate marks (Second Year) from Board of – Technical Education, Goa, including specified practical training.

– Application forms from candidates who have not completed their practical training will be provisionally accepted However, they shall be considered eligible for admissions, only after completion of specified Practical Training.

– Candidate must have passed the Diploma course from Goa College of Pharmacy, Panaji, and Goa
The D.Pharm Students admitted under above provision to Second Year B.Pharm Science course will have to appear and pass in subjects, as specified by Goa University

– Candidate who has passed Diploma from other States shall be eligible only for the seats remaining vacant after admitting all the candidates from Goa, only if he/she fulfils other eligibility criteria

Eligible Diploma/B.Sc Degree holders to vacant First Year Seats in Engg./Pharmacy:
– Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc Degree with Mathematics as a subject at Std XIIth, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC), shall be eligible for admission to First Year of Engg. Degree Courses subject to vacancies in First Year, after vacancies at Lateral Entry are exhausted

– Merit list of such candidates shall be prepared as per provision under ‘Guidelines for merit list. Diploma holders in Pharmacy’ are eligible for admissions to First Year of Pharmacy Degree Course under this provision

How to Apply

Applicants shall download, print and submit application form for GCET-2020 (Form A), at notified locations as per Centre opted, on specified dates, along with application fee of Rs. 1800/- payable vide demand draft drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa, on any
Scheduled Bank, and three identical photographs as indicated, and other relevant certificates (self attested photo copies), to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee. Admit cards will be issued only to candidates in person. Applicants shall ensure that the validity of the
Demand Draft is atleast 3 months from the date of issue.

The prospectus issued by DTE Goa consists of GCET 2020 Application Form A and B. Candidates must note that Form A is to apply for GCET 2020 while Form B is for GCET 2020 Counselling only.

– Candidates must keep Form B safe until the results are announced and fill it later at the time of applying for the counselling procedure. The steps involved in the application process for GCET 2020 are as follows:

– Open the official website of DTE, Goa.
– Next, the candidates are advised to very carefully read the information with regard to GCET 2020 and thereby, fill all the necessary details as required in the form.
– Once the form has been duly filled, applicants are required to take a print out of the same and submit the Form A at the notified Application – Reception Center in person along with the required application fees.
– At the Application Reception Center, along with the Form A and the application fees, candidates have to submit three identical photographs as specified and obtain their Photo Admit Cards from the Admission Committee on the same day.
– Late application forms will be accepted with a late fee of 1800 INR until previously notified date. No late forms beyond this date will be accepted.

Paper Pattern

GCET 2020 Exam Pattern is prepared by the authority responsible for conducting the exam, DTE. GCET 2020 Exam will be divided into papers, with each pertaining to questions from its field of study. Each paper will be of two hours. Candidates must note that GCET is conducted in the offline format, that is, pen and paper mode.

Combining the four papers, there will be a total of 225 questions with each question carrying one mark. There is no negative marking. Below presented table discusses paper wise number of questions and marks for GCET 2020:

Syllabus

Admit Card

– The code for centre preferred should be correctly entered on the application form. – Depending on availability of accommodation at the centres, Admission Committee shall allot the examination centre, which shall be binding on the candidate. Allotment of Centre to applicants submitting forms (with late fees) shall be done by the Admission Committee.

Candidates must produce ‘Photo Admit Cards’ for appearing in the test at the designated centre. Candidates shall be seated in the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the paper

Results

The result for GCET 2020 will be declared by DTE on 2nd week of May 2020 on its official website. Candidates must remember that no individual score cards will be published.
Steps to download GCET 2020 Result

– Open the official website of DTE, Goa www.dtegoa.gov.in
– Look for the link of GCET 2020 result.
– Once there, fill in the required details like roll number and the date of birth.
– Once the details have been correctly submitted, the result will appear on the screen.

Counselling

Counselling for GCET 2020 will be conducted in the beginning of June until July by DTE. To participate in counselling, candidates need to first fill and submit the Form B before the already notified date. Counselling for GCET 2020 will be conducted purely on the basis of the merit list prepared by the DTE.

GCET 2020 allotment of seats for counselling will be conducted purely on the basis of merit list, rank, number of vacancies, reservation criteria among other factors. For the entire duration of the counselling process, candidates have to be present in person. The counselling process will include applying for admissions, document verification, seat allotment and admissions. GCET 2020 counselling will be held in 2 rounds. Candidates, who fail to secure a seat in the first round of counselling, will be eligible for the second round. In case, the candidate fails to secure a seat even in the second round then the center may conduct an extra round of admissions, if required.

Eligibility Criteria

– The children of Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST), children of Non-APST employees of the State Government, Central Government & central public undertakings serving in Arunachal Pradesh and all others residing in Arunachal Pradesh for the last 3 years or more and who have appeared/passed Class X/XII from any of the schools within Arunachal Pradesh are eligible to appear the APJEE.

The minimum academic qualifications for appearing the APJEE in the various courses was as follows.
For Diploma Courses :
Passed or Appeared Class X or equivalent from a Govt. recognised Board.

For Degree Courses :
– Passed or Appeared Class XII or equivalent examination in science stream(Biology group) from a Govt. recognised Board/University.

The age limit for appearing the APJEE in the various courses was as follows.
For Diploma Courses: 15 to 18 years as on the date of admission in the particular institution to which the candidate may be nominated.

For Degree Courses: 17 to 21 years as on the date of admission in the particular institution to which the candidate may be nominated.

However, the upper age limit for SC/ST candidates is relaxable by 3 (three) years.

How To Fill Application Form

Steps to fill the application form are given below. These steps will give you an idea of how the APJEE application form is usually submitted.
– After filling the requisite information you must upload scanned copy of your photograph and signature as per instruction was given. The photograph must be clear to the eyes and recognisable in the colour format with the date of taking the photograph (taken on or after 01 Oct 2015). The photograph and signature must be in .jpg format and of size not exceeding the maximum limit.

– Review and check all the data you have entered before clicking the Final Submit button. Once the candidate submits the form, no changes can be made in the application. No correspondence in this regard would be entertained under any circumstances.
After filling up the form candidates will be asked to choose the payment mode. Payment can be made online using Debit Card / Credit Card (Maestro/Master/Visa) / Net banking.

– Complete the application process by clicking on the Final Submit button.

– Please check that a unique registration no. has been generated and a Registration Confirmation Page is displayed after the final submission.

– Please print and keep the Registration Confirmation page for future reference and correspondence.

Instructions to fill APJEE Application Form 2020
Date of availability of application form and mode to submit has been elaborated here as well as the procedure to obtain the form and other details of APJEE application form 2020. Given below are some highlights of how to apply for APJEE.

– Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as it appears in the instruction panel.

– Candidates are strictly advised NOT to use the back button or refresh the page during the form filling process.

– Candidates can fill up the entire form in one session or enter one part of the information and save and complete the same at a later stage within the due date of filling up of form.

– Candidates are to be careful while filling up each of the fields or selecting an option from the drop down menu such as Category, Gender, Date of Birth etc.

– Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination 2015 are also eligible to apply.

– The selection of the candidates is purely provisional. All selected candidates will have to produce their original mark sheets / grade cards /pass certificates at the time of counselling. Otherwise, they will not be considered for allotment of seats.

– Online Application can be submitted within the window provided only.

– Please read the instructions carefully and then click on the Continue Online Form Submission Button to proceed with the submission of application.

– During the online form fill up process provide all information mentioned in the form and click on Continue to continue the form fill up the process.

– If you are not ready to continue you can save the information already entered by clicking on the Save Button. You can resume to fill up rest of the details in the form at a later time within the due date for filling up the form.

– Candidates not complying with the instructions shall summarily be disqualified. Also, any discrepancy in the information submitted will lead to immediate disqualification of the candidature.

– Please note that the candidates may apply for more than one exam i.e. both Diploma and Degree (PCB only) if they fulfil the eligibility criteria. In this case, however, they need to submit the application form separately for each exam with requisite information and fee.

– The candidates must note that fee paid is not refundable and it cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances. Claims for refund of application fee will not be entertained.

– A candidate should submit only one application for either of the examination. Submission of multiple applications may lead to disqualification of the candidate.

– The question papers of the APJEE will be in English only.
– All questions will be of Objective Type with multiple-choice answers.
– Each question will carry four (4) marks for a correct response.
– Negative marking – For each incorrect response to a question, one (1) mark will be deducted. There shall be no deduction for the un-attempted question.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

– Dispatch and download of APJEE Admit Card / Hall Ticket 2020 are available to download from the date specified by Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education (APSCTE). Candidates who have submitted their application form of APJEE 2020 by the last date, can download their admit cards online at www.apdhte.nic.in.

– The candidate should also download hall ticket from University official website.

– The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.

– The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Details of APJEE Counselling and Nomination of candidates
– The dates regarding the counselling, selection and nomination of candidates shall be made available on the official website of the Directorate i.e. www.apdhte.nic.in and shall also be published in the local dailies of the State.

– The date of Counseling for allotment of seats shall be finalised only on receipt of allotment of seats from the Government of India.

– Allotment of the seat will be made strictly on the basis of merit list of APJEE.

– Preference of candidates shall be considered subject to availability of seats in the particular discipline as per his/her Merit position. No candidate, whosoever can, as a matter of right, ask for the particular discipline or particular college/institution.

– Choice of Course/disciplines indicated in the Application Form will be considered as Final and shall not be allowed to be changed at a later stage unless Open Counseling is held.

– If any candidate, after an issue of the nomination order, does not join or continue in the Institution and does not complete the prescribed course without sufficient reason, he/she will not be eligible for appearing the subsequent JEEs.

– A candidate should immediately surrender his/her seat allotted on the basis of his/her performance in the APJEE if he/she does not desire to undergo the course whatsoever the reason may be.

– At the time of counselling, the candidates will have to produce the following documents to be eligible for allotment of seats.

– Original Marks Card/ Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination.

The Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Technical Education Department, has consented for the constitution of Central Admission Board (CAB) under the Chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow to supervise and control the State Entrance Examination herein after referred as UPSEE being conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

This Entrance Examination is open to the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in U.P. or whose parents are domicile of U.P subject to the eligibility conditions given in Information Brochure. If the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside U.P., he/she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of verification of the document.

Eligibility Criteria

– The candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria as given in clause 3.1/3.2/3.3 to appear in UPSEE. However, the candidates appearing in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to appear, subject to the condition that they must fulfil the eligibility criteria as given in clause 3.1/3.2/3.3 at the time of counselling.

– There is no age limit for admission to the courses covered in UPSEE.

(B.Tech.) – Bachelor of Technology

– Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University without grace in required each compulsory subjects is Physics, Mathematics & Biology and one optional subjects is Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.

– All candidates who are eligible for admission in B.Tech. Courses are also eligible for B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) and B.Tech. (Biotechnology)

(B.Pharm.) – Bachelor of Pharmacy

– Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University without grace in required each compulsory subjects Physics & Chemistry and one optional subject as Mathematics/ Bio-Technology/Biology / Technical Vocational Subject and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.

(B.Arch.) – Bachelor of Architecture
– For admission to first year of B. Arch., a candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing (i) minimum 50% marks in aggregate and (ii) clearly passed without grace, each compulsory (Mathematics & Physics) and optional subjects (Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/ Engineering Drawing /Technical Vocational subject ) as given in clause.

– A candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognised by Central / State Govt., is also eligible for admission to the first year of B. Arch. only, provided the candidate has passed the Diploma examination securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate without grace. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for the first year of B. Arch.

(BHMCT) – Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology

– For admission to the first year of BHMCT candidate must have clearly passed the intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.

(BFAD) – Bachelor of Fashion & Apparel Design

– For admission to the first year of BFAD candidate must have clearly passed the intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.

(BFA) – Bachelor of Fine Arts

– For admission to the first year of BFA, the candidate must have clearly passed the intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.

(MBA – Master of Business Administration

For admission to the first year of MBA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognised Indian University; or its equivalent, recognised by A.I.U securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in
aggregate.

(MCA) – Master of Computer Application

– For admission to the first year of MCA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognised Indian University; or its equivalent, recognised by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.

– For admission to the first year of MBA/MCA in other Universities of U.P., a candidate must have passed Bachelor degree course with the eligibility conditions given in following table subject to the confirmation received from the concerned University:

(MAM) (Dual Degree) – Master of Applied Management (Dual Degree)

– For Admission to the first year of MAM Course (Dual degree), a candidate must have passed Intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board/ University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.

B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

– Lateral entry in “B.Tech. for Engg. Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard”/ “B.Pharm. for Diploma holders” in the third semester (second year)/”MCA for Graduates of BCA or B.Sc.-Information Technology/Computer Science in the third semester (second year)”, is open only in the institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow.

– Candidates who have passed ‘three years Engg. Diploma from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) OR ‘whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh’ and he/she has passed three years Engg. Diploma with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognised by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture), are eligible for admission to the Second year in any branch of Engineering / Technology.

– Candidates who have passed ‘three years Diploma in Agriculture Engg. from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks(40% for SC/ST)’ OR ‘whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of U.P.’ and he/she has passed three years Diploma in Agriculture Engg. with minimum 45% marks(40% for SC/ST) recognised by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., are eligible for admission to the Second year of Agriculture Engg. Branch only.

– Candidates who have passed ‘three years B.Sc. degree and passed XII standard with mathematics as one of the subject’ from any recognised University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the aggregate are also eligible for admission to the second year in any branch of Engineering/ Technology.

B.Pharm (Lateral Entry)

– Candidates who have passed 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)’ OR ‘whose parents are domicile of U.P.’ and he/she has passed 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., are eligible for admission to second year of B.Pharm. only.

MCA (Lateral Entry)

– For Admission to 2 nd year of MCA course (Lateral Entry), in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) from any recognised Indian University; or its equivalent,recognised by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. The candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.

Reservation Criteria

State Govt. has permitted 10% of the total sanctioned seats available in Technology / Architecture courses in private institutions affiliated to AKTU to be filled through combined merit of U.P. Domicile and Non-U.P. Domicile candidates without reservation subject to eligibility conditions given in this Information Brochure. Thus, 10% of the total sanctioned seats in Technology /Architecture courses in Private Institutions, affiliated to AKTU, shall also be opened to the candidates whose parent belongs to the State other than Uttar Pradesh and has passed qualifying examination from an Institution located outside U.P. These seats shall be filled on the basis of UPSEE Merit.

How to Apply

– Application to the UPSEE 2020 can be made through submission of On-Line Application Form only. Interested Candidates are required to fill the Application Form On-Line through the website http://www.upsee.nic.in.

– Candidates are advised to read this Information Brochure carefully, check their eligibility and applicable reservation category etc. before filling and submitting the application form.

The On-Line application form submission consists of following three simple steps.
(i) Registration (Filling up of Personal and other Details)
(ii) Uploading of Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression
(iii) Payment of Examination Fee and Printing of the “Confirmation Page”

Syllabus

Exam Pattern

UPSEE will be conducted for TWELVE papers with objective multiple type questions except Drawing Aptitude test (Part B of paper 4). The candidates are required to opt papers and subjects for appearing in the entrance examination as mentioned in clause 4.3, subject to their eligibility as per clause 3. Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 shall be OMR based Test only. Paper 5, Paper 6, Paper 7, Paper 8, Paper 9, Paper 10, Paper 11 and Paper 12 will be Computer Based Test only. There will be no negative marking. However, a record of incorrect answers given by a candidate will be kept separately.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

Admit card will be available online on the website http://www.upsee.nic.in to every candidate. Downloaded admit card shall be treated as valid admit card. The candidates are advised to check the details of admit cards with regards to their category, sub-category, gender, rural weight, Name, Father’s Name etc. as mentioned on the Admit Card.

Cutoff

Candidates have who score more than cut off Marks would feature in the merit list. Candidates names included in the merit list will be called for counselling rounds. Candidates can check previous years cut off marks to get an idea of Cut off for the current year as cut-off will be declared after the declaration of Result.

Answer Key

Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow declare the answer key for UPSEE exam. Candidates can check their answers by subject wise in the official website. If there any complaints in the marks the candidates send their doubts before the last date.

Results

– The result of UPSEE declared by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow shall be final.

Counselling

The UPSEE counselling process includes document verification, option entry, publishing of seat matrix, selection, seat allotment, fee payment and reporting to allotted college. Through counselling, the eligible candidates will be granted admission to various colleges & Institutes of the Uttar Pradesh State.
