Karnataka Biotechnology Aptitude Test (KBAT) for Admission of students to Biotechnology Finishing Schools (BTFS) for post graduate diploma in specialized biotechnology related job-oriented courses. The fast growing biotechnology sector in Karnataka has been facing severe shortage of industry-ready graduates and post-graduates for a long time. In an effort to fulfill the needs of the industry, the Karnataka government in association with the Vision Group, ABLE and Industry representatives has developed a mechanism to provide employment opportunities in the sector. In the Millennium Biotech Policy-II, the Government of Karnataka has initiated establishment of finishing schools across the state. Twelve BT Finishing Schools (BTFS) have been established in Karnataka with appropriate course content and duration to equip graduates and post-graduates with necessary employable skills and to make them industry ready.

KBAT is an online test. The test is common to all BTFS courses. The pattern of KBAT goes like this –

- There is a penalty for wrong answer. Penalty for different answers will have different weights

Eligibility Criteria
For MBBS and BDS courses- You need to have qualified class 12th from M.P. Board or CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). The mandatory subjects required in this examination are physics, chemistry and biology. Individually 50% marks would be needed in physics, chemistry and biology.
Those of you from other recognized boards fulfilling the above-mentioned criteria can also apply for the exam. Other criterion that is approved by the Government of India, Medical council and Dental Council is also accepted in DMAT.
For BPT, B.Sc. Nursing and other Para medical courses Those of you who are seeking admission in these courses need to have qualified class 12th from CBSE or M.P. state board. They need to have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their main subjects. You need to individually pass these subjects including English. Those of you who fulfill these requirement can apply for DMAT examination.
Other recognized boards and university score cards, which are equal to higher secondary examination, would be accepted. These individuals can also apply for the courses that are listed above.
Those of you who are applying for MP DMAT should be 17 years as on 31 December in order to take admission. Those of you who have failed in any of the subjects and received supplementary would also be applicable if they produce the passing certificate before the commencement of counseling.

If the form is downloaded from the internet, then you need to attach a demand of Rs. 1500 for MBBS, BDS, and Rs. 750/- for other medical courses.

How to Apply
MP DMAT 2017 application form of this examination is available at selected State Bank of India branches and the colleges that participate in the examination. The payment method of obtaining the form from the bank is cash. In the colleges, one can use cash and demand drafts to buy the form. The demand draft needs to be drawn for Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges (APDMC) to be paid at Bhopal. The downloaded form of the examination needs to be submitted with a demand draft for APDMC and this should be payable at Bhopal.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
– The Course of studies leading to the award of degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is of 5½ academic years including one-year compulsory internship
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
– The duration of study for BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is of 5 academic years including one-year compulsory internship
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
– The BAMS or Ayurvedacharya or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is awarded after the successful completion of 5½ years program that covers the study of integrated system of modern medicine and traditional ayurveda; the full 5½ duration of degree includes 4½ years of the main course and one- year compulsory internship
Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
– The Degree Course of BHMS shall comprise a course of study consisting of Curriculum and Syllabus spread over a period of 5½ years, including compulsory Internship of one-year duration after passing the Final Degree Exam
Eligibility Criteria
Age: Only those candidates who have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December 2017 are eligible.
Essential Qualification to appear in CPMEE-2017
MBBS, BDS & BAMS: Candidates must have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc) or an equivalent exam of a recognized University/Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
Minimum Marks in Aggregate: The 10+2 exam should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subjects and the candidate must have passed in all the above said subjects
The candidate must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together in the qualifying exam; in respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCs, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying exam should be 40% in lieu of 50% as for general candidates
Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects and expect to pass the exam with required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in CPMEE-2017
However, their candidature will be considered for admission only when they will provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying exam with the required subjects and percentage of marks at the time of counseling
BHMS: Candidates should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Exam (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc) or an equivalent exam of a recognized University/Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and the result is not yet declared are also eligible to appear in the CPMEE-2017 but such candidates shall submit the mark sheet of passing qualifying exam at the time of counseling

Exam Pattern
The Common Pre Medical Entrance Examination-2017 would consist of one paper of 200 marks containing 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology to be answered on the specifically designed machine-gradable OMR Sheet; the MCQs will be from the syllabus of 10+2 exam of various boards; the duration of paper would be 2½ hours
The general standard of the Competitive Entrance Exam will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. No syllabus has been prescribed by the ACEE for the CPMEE-2017
Scoring & Negative Marking
There is no negative marking; all the questions will be objective type with multiple choices (A, B, C & D), of which, only one choice will be the most appropriate response/answer
Each correct answer shall be awarded ONE mark; Zero mark shall be given to no response and incorrect answer; more than one choices indicated against a question shall be considered as incorrect response/answer and ZERO mark will be given

Candidates will be able to download the Uttarakhand CPMEE Admit Card 2017 from official website as per scheduled date. About Study (what do you study)
Aspirants must be a Permanent/Local resident of Jharkhand as per letter no. 5/vivid-9/2001 (domicile) ka. 2691/Ranchi, dated 29.04.2002 of Personnel, Administrative Reforms & Raj Bhasa, Govt. of Jharkhand AND have procured proper Local Residential Certificate issued by proper authority assigned by Govt. of Jharkhand. OR A candidate who is not a permanent resident of Jharkhand, but has passed his MBBS Examination from any University/Medical College of Jharkhand state is also eligible as per the directives of Hon’ble High Court, Patna. B.A.M.S Degree Course
– Candidates seeking admission for BAMS course must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have
obtained a minimum marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination with a minimum of 50% marks for General and
45% of marks for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/OPH (General & OBC) and 40% of marks for SC/BT & OPH.

– WHILE FILLING THE APPLICATION ALL THE CANDIDATES MUST PROVIDE THEIR MOBILE NUMBER & SCANNED IMAGE OF COLOUR PHOTOGRAPH WHICH IS MANDATORY.
– A model of filled in online application is available for ready reference in the CENTAC website. Any other form of submission of application will not be entertained.
– Applications submitted through online shall be considered, only after receiving the print-out of online entry with necessary self-attested copies of certificates, application fee as online payment receipt.

Exam Pattern
The Puducherry Joint Entrance Test (PJET) 2017 will have three papers of two hours duration each. The candidates will have to answer objective type questions.
Paper –I
Mathematics : 60 Questions
Paper – II
Physical Sciences : 80 Questions(Physics 40 Chemistry 40)
Paper– III
Biology : 100 Questions (Botany 50 Zoology 50)
For the B.Tech degree course, the candidates should only appear in Papers I & II.
Syllabus
The main contents of the CENTAC MCA CET consist of questions from:

Admit Card / Hall Ticket
The hall ticket of the candidate will be available on the official site of CENTAC. After the announcement of admit card the candidate able to download the card by filling up the application number. Candidate can download and take the print out of their hall ticket. The admit card will be available a week prior to the examination date.
Note:Admit card will not be send by post, candidates are suppose to download the hall ticket from the official site only.
Cutoff
The cut off score depends on difficulty level of exam, availability of seats, number of applicants, etc. Based on the cut-off score examination authority prepares the merit list and candidates are called for counselling.
Results
The result will be the marks obtained in CENTAC examination decided through the process of “normalization”. The tie breaker methods vary from one course to another.
Counselling
– Counseling for all the above degree courses will be conducted at the Office of the CENTAC, Chemical Engineering block, Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC), Pillaichavady, Puducherry – 605 014.
- The students should refer the CENTAC website for merit list for all the courses. If there are any corrections in the Name, Date of Birth, Marks in the concerned subjects, Categories, Special categories, Regional Claim and their merit marks they should report to the CENTAC office within two days with all original certificates related to his / her demand.
- From this year CENTAC will adopt the On-Line Counseling Method. Dates for the counseling will be sent through SMS, E-mail and will be updated in the CENTAC website and press releases, will be given also.
- After the counseling date is announced the students should refer the CENTAC website regularly. During that period CENTAC portal will be open from 7.00 A.M. to 7.00 P.M.
- Candidates can login to the CENTAC website only by paying the admission processing fees through online payment ( Credit cards / Debit cards / NEFT ) as part of the admission procedures.
- Candidates must enter their options ( unlimited options are provided ) for the courses and college ( Biology based Degree courses / B.Tech Degree and B.Pharm Degree Courses ) as per their wish. Then only they should log out of the website.
- After a week’s gap CENTAC will publish selection list on the website and provisional allotment will be posted on the CENTAC website and the same may be downloaded from the CENTAC website. ( Intimation will be sent through SMS / Email )
- After downloading the Provisional Allotment Order the candidates should report to the allotted college within the specified duration. If not reported in the given time, provisional allotment will be cancelled automatically.
- Similar procedure will be followed for the Second and Third round of counseling. Candidates are asked to visit the CENTAC website frequently.

Odisha DET 2017 application form is available online on official website of the board from Last Week Of April 2017. The last date to make fee payment is4th Week Of May 2017. Candidates will have to fill the particulars in online application form along with the application fee details which will be prescribed by the board as Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST/PC/Female) or Rs. 150/- (for male candidates) through the credit card/ debit card/ e-Challan or net banking at any branch of Axis bank. Exam Pattern
The exam pattern is decided by the exam conducting authority so as to present the image of the Odisha DET 2017 in the mind of the candidates. The exam pattern is based on the type of examination. it is illustrated here for your convenience.
- The Odisha DET 2017 will be objective in nature.
- Total 100 questions will be in the final examination.
- 150 minutes will be given to complete the examination.
- Each question in the question paper of Odisha DET 2017 will carry 4 marks.
- The penalty of 1 mark will be applied for each wrong answer.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket
The Odisha DET Admit Card 2017 will be available on the official site of the board in the first week of May 2017. Candidates may download their admit card by using their name and application number. There will not be entertained any other communication like offline or post for the admit card except online. Candidates may also get their duplicate admit card (In case of lost) from the examination centre with payment of Rs. 20/- with two identically photo as uploaded in application form.
Cutoff

Results
The candidates are required to enter their respective Odisha DET 2017 Roll Number for checking their result and downloading of their scorecard. The result will furnish the rank secured by the candidates. Based on the result of Odisha DET and the cutoff screening, eligible candidates would be selected for the next round of selection process. The selected candidates would be enlisted in a merit list and will be called for counselling cum allotment on the basis of appearance in the list.
Counselling
The Odisha DET Counselling 2017 has started from 1st Week Of July 2017. On the date of document verification, the candidates must fill the fee as Rs. 200/- (Counselling Fee). The application number, user ID, roll number and password should be secure by the candidates for further reference.
