Chhattisgarh Pre Medical Entrance Test (CGPMT) is conducted for admission in MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Other related courses

Eligibility:
The candidate must be a citizen of India and must have a domicile of Chhattisgarh state For admissions MBBS, BDS courses the candidate must pass in the 12th (HSC) class examination with 50% aggregate marks in PCB and English if the candidate belongs to General Category and 40% if He/She belongs to SC/ST category

The Director of Medical Education will conduct Kerala Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination (Kerala PG Dental) for MDS courses Admission at Medical College ,Thiruvananthapuram. Director of Medical Education, Government of Kerala admits students to Post Graduate courses in Dental Surgery ( MDS) Master of Dental Surgery in eight different specialties, conducted in the Government Dental Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Kottayam and to Govt seats in the Self financing Dental Colleges in the State, duly approved by DCI and who have agreed for seat sharing with Government. A total of 56 seats are available in Government Dental Colleges in the State for the year. The Prospectus for admission to Post Graduate Dental(MDS) courses shall be issued by the Director of Medical Education with the approval of the Government every year and the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations shall be the authority for conducting the allotment and admission in the State Quota seats in P G Dental(MDS) courses for the academic year. observing the prevailing reservation principles for admission .

Eligibility for Admission
(a) Academic: Applicant should have passed the BDS degree from a Dental College from any one of the Universities in Kerala or duly recognized by the Government of India as equivalent there to under the Indian Dentists Act, 1948 and who has obtained permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Councils after passing the final BDS examination or equivalent there to with eligibility for full Registration in Kerala State Dental Council in all respects. The condition of one year Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship is not applicable to those candidates who had passed their final BDS Examination on or before 1988 and hold a BDS Degree from a Dental College recognized by the Dental Council of India and have obtained provisional or permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council. Admission to the candidate will be given only on the production of the registration of Kerala State Dental Council in original.

b) Nativity: Applicants should have satisfied any of the following conditions:
i) Be an Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin.
ii) Candidates, who are sons/daughters of Non-Keralite parents and have obtained BDS degree from any of the Dental Colleges in Kerala State and opted for the domicile status of State of Kerala. But they will not be eligible for communal/PD reservation benefits.

Qualifying Criteria: All candidates including service candidates shall have to qualify the “All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination”(AIPGDEE) conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS),New Delhi. In order to be eligible for admission to any Postgraduate Dental Course, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain a minimum of 50% in AIPGDEE. However in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC)-the minimum marks shall be at 40%. In respect of candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum shall be at 45%.

3. For BPTh, BOTh, BASLP : Passing at Std. XII or HSC or equivalent examination is necessary.

Educational Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic Course: Candidates should have maximum age of 35 years (45 years in case of regular employee of State Government) as on 31st December of the examination year.
