Syllabus

NITTE University Post-Graduate Entrance Test (NU PGET) is conducted by Nitte University, a deemed educational institution. It is for the admission in postgraduate degree courses in the field of medical, nursing, physiotherapy and pharmacy. Candidates get enrolled into the constituent colleges of Nitte University through the entrance test and the subsequent counseling, which is conducted for candidates who score qualifying marks in the written test. Syllabus for Nitte University Post-Graduate Entrance Test consists of academic curriculum from relevant graduation level examination and candidate who seeks admission in aforementioned courses can go through the syllabus of the respective qualifying exams.

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)

GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. This test facilitates institutions to select suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Master’s (M.Pharm) program. The GPAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session.The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy are also given on the basis of the GPAT score. The GPAT 2020 will be conducted on 28th January 2020.

Payment can be done via two modes:

Mode i) PAYMENT: You can select ONLINE PAYMENT mode and then do the payment using Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking Once your payment is successfully done, you will receive a confirmation E-mail and SMS. Once you have received the successful payment confirmation, you can proceed with the remaining part of registration process

Mode ii) CASH Payment in SBI bank: You can select this option to pay by CASH at any of the designated SBI bank branch. Once you select this option and proceed, you will see a CHALLAN on your screen with your details already filled in it. You need to take 3 PRINT OUTS of this CHALLAN, fill in the details wherever required in all the copies, and walk in to your nearest SBI bank branch with CASH on the next day of generation of Challan. Cash Deposit will be accepted only from the next day of your Challan generation

Karnataka CET 2020 Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is being conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility/ merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates and the ward/s of Jammu & Kashmiri migrants to the First year or First semester of full time courses for Government share of seats in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Farm Science courses in Government /University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka for the academic year.

In order to obtain admission to any of the professional courses through KEA, a candidate must appear for the Common Entrance Test, which will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore (Hereinafter referred to as KEA). The Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted at 54
places, spread over Karnataka Candidates who have passed or are appearing for Qualifying Examination within Karnataka should write ‘CET-2019’ in a test centre assigned by the KEAwithin the district in which the candidate has studied 2nd PUC or 12th standard.

– No candidate shall be eligible for admission to Government Seats unless he is a citizen of India

How to Apply

Step 1:
– Candidate download the e-brochure from KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in and read the instructions carefully before start entering the application online. Enter all the details

– ONLINE by browsing URL on web http://kea.kar.nic.in by selecting “CET UG Online Application”. After completion of entry of all the details candidate’s will receive an application ID and Password to their registered mobile phone number and to email address and also the same information will be displayed on the screen.

Step 2:
– Upload the scanned copy of recent passport size Colour Photograph, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression in JPG / JPEG format separately.

Step 3:
– Print the Challan copy which is in triplicate. Candidates of Karnataka origin have to pay an amount of Rs. 650/- for General and OBC (Rs.500/- for SC / ST Category-1 of Karnataka candidates only). Rs.750/- in the case of candidates residing outside the state of Karnataka and Rs.5,000/- in the case of candidates residing outside India.

– The candidates have to pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of the Banks prescribed. The bank will retain bank copy of the Challan and handover the remaining two copies of the Challan to the candidates. The candidates who are residing outside India shall pay the fees in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, payable at Bangalore, the demand draft should be sent to KEA address by mentioning the application number.

Step 4:
– Take a printout of the application form on A-4 Size paper. Obtain Principal seal and signature from the college where you have studied 2nd PUC or 12th Standard on the space provided in the printed form. The same copy should be produced during document verification.

Note: Candidates should note down their application ID and Password until the completion of filling of the online application. The candidate has to enter all the required details in the form, failing which their application will not be considered. Applications without Photo and signature will not be considered as valid. Candidates are not allowed to edit their application after selecting declaration / taking the final printout.

Syllabus

The question papers of the Common Entrance Test will be based on the First and Second PUC syllabi prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State.

Paper Pattern

The Common Entrance Test will be held on TWO days in FOUR different sessions for four subjects. On the first day, the test will be conducted for Biology and Mathematics subjects in two sessions and on the next day test will be conducted for Physics and Chemistry subjects in two sessions as per the date and time notified. Each paper / subject will be conducted for 60 marks each with a duration of 80 minutes.

Each question paper will be of Multiple Choice Questions (Objective) type. The question paper in each subject will be in 16 different versions and each question will have four different options. Each question will carry ONE mark. The candidate is expected to attempt all the questions, in order to obtain maximum marks. In other words, there is no choice of questions. THERE WILL BE NO NEGATIVE EVALUATION WITH REGARD TO WRONG / INCORRECT ANSWERS BUT MARKS WILL NOT BE AWARDED IN RESPECT OF MULTIPLE ANSWERS for the same question. The version code of the question paper will be boldly printed on facing sheet of the question paper.

About Assam JAT

Assam Joint Admission Test (Assam JAT)is conducted by the Director of Technical Education for admission in to undergraduate courses in Engineering , Medical, Regional Dental and Ayurvedic Colleges of the State of Assam. The Assam JAT Test is usually held in the month of May annually at centers. Joint Admission Test is also conducted for selection of candidates for admission to the first year B.E. course to the two State Government Colleges and REC (for Assam quota only). Candidates who seek for admission in any regional engineering college (against Assam quota) have to apply separately to the principal, Regional Engineering College, Silchar, in addition to appearing in Joint Admission Test.

Eligibility Criteria

=> The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and a citizen of India.

=> Candidate must pass 10+2 Examination (12 years) from Assam higher secondary education council or an equivalent examination with PCM, and English securing at least 50% marks aggregate in PCM in one sitting are eligible.

=> Candidates must have passed the qualifying Examination securing at least 50% & (45% in case of SC and 40% in case of ST) marks in the aggregate of the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in the first attempt itself.

Exam Pattern

The test paper will have three papers containing 100 objective type questions with four options from each in physics, chemistry, biology (if applicable) and mathematics of the 12th standard as follows. Duration of exam is for three hours.
=> Mathematics – 100 Marks
=> Physics – 100 Marks
=> Chemistry – 100 Marks
=> Biology – 100 Marks
