Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech (4 years)

  • Pass in +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology(For B.Tech – Biotechnology; Physics, Chemistry and Biology are also eligible) or equivalent of any recognized central/state board of secondary school examination such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
  • Pass in +2 level examination with minimum 45% marks in above subjects taken together shall be admitted to B.Tech. For Reserved Category candidates 40% marks.
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-university Examination Conducted by a recognised Board/ university (or)
  • Final Examination of the two year course of the Joint Services wing of the National Defence academy (or)
  • Public School/Board or University Examination in India recognised as equivalent to 10+2system (or)
  • H.S.C. Vocational Examination (or)
  • Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects (or)
  • 3 or 4 year Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education (or)
  • Association of Indian Universities (AIU) equivalence certificate for international students.

B.Tech (3 year) Lateral Entry Courses

A pass in Diploma in the respective Engineering or technology discipline / B.Sc., with Mathematics as a subject in HSC level or in degree level with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent. For Reserved Category candidates 40% marks.

B.Arch (5 years)

  • 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks (or)
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.(or)
  • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/she has passed examination at the end of the new 10+2 Scheme of Senior school Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as the subject of examination at the 10+2 level.

  • A candidate appearing or who has appeared/passed the qualifying examination (50% marks in graduation in any discipline) is eligible to appear for the test. However, he/she shall be admitted to the course, only if he/she provides the proof of passing the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks before admission.

How to Apply

  • The candidate is required to fill registration form online by visiting the website www.davuniversity.org.
  • For Choice of centre, click State > District > City > Centre on the online form
  • Click the ‘Submit’ button and take print out of the Admit cards generated automatically.
  • Affix recent passport size photograph on each admit card. Thereafter, the same shall be got attested by the Principal/Coordinator of the centre selected by the candidate.
  • Retain Student’s Copy and submit other two admit cards by hand or by registered post / speed post/courier to the opted examination centre along with the requisite fee

• The filled-in form should not be sent to DAV University unless DAV University Jalandhar is opted as the exam centre.
• The University will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in postal transit.

Mode Of Payment

a) Cash
The candidate can pay the fee of Rs 200/- to the Examination Centre opted by the candidate. Or

b) Muli-city cheque or Demand draft
The fee can also be deposited through Multicity cheque/DD of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of “ Principal, ………………”, (fill in respective examination centre) payable at the respective city. Candidate should write his/her name, address and mobile number on the reverse side of multi-city cheque/DD.
For example, if a candidate has selected DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana as examination centre, the candidate is to draw a cheque/DD in favour of
‘Principal, DAV Public school, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana.

Note:
• In case DAV University is opted as a test centre the Multicity cheque/DD of Rs. 200/- is to be drawn in favour of Registrar, DAV University, Jalandhar.
• Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• The applications will be processed only on receipt of payment. The online application form registered within due date without deposition of the requisite fee will not be entertained.

Exam Pattern

Question paper will be in English language only and questions will be of multiple choice (MCQ) type. Each question will have 4 options out of which one correct answer has to be chosen. Each question will carry one mark. The question paper will have the following four sections:

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

Results

After the online evaluation of Answer Sheets, result is likely to be declared by 30th March 2017 and the same will be available on website www.davuniversity.org

A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks secured in the DAVU – MET 2017. There will be no separate merit list of SC/ST candidates.

There is no provision for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Counselling

  • The candidates short-listed based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counselling to be held at the DAV University premises in Jalandhar, Punjab and/or at a Centre to be notified later subsequent to the declaration of the result.
  • It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualification for admission. Having been called for the counselling does not necessarily mean acceptance of the eligibility claimed by the candidate.
  • The provisional admission offered to a candidate to a program will stand cancelled if he / she does not submit the relevant documents in original, pertaining to admission (such as Marks Statements, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, etc.).
  • Change of date / time of counselling are generally not permissible. If a candidate does not appear for counselling / Interview on the date and time specified, his / her seat shall be offered to the next candidate in order of merit.
  • The selected candidates will have to remit the prescribed fee on confirmation of the seat.
  • The candidates should produce the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies while reporting for counselling.

Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process without these documents.

Note : The candidates have to make the payment of Rs. 1200/- against the application fee. A minimal charge of Rs. 50/- as the processing fee will be charged from the candidates who will make the payment through credit/debit card and internet banking. These candidates have to pay Rs. 1250/- for requesting the application form.

The aspirants want to apply for the UUEE 2017 can avail the form online and offline. The application forms are available in the official website of the University. Fill the form either online or download it from the official website. The application form has been announced and available for the aspirants.

Exam Pattern

The entrance examination pattern is discussed in this section. The question paper will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects. There are total 100 objective type questions in the examination, 30-30 questions from PCM and 10 questions from English. The duration of the examination is 2 hours.

The syllabus of UUEE 2017 for admission to B.Tech course consisted of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. Prepare these subjects from your 11th and 12th books.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

The UUEE Admit Card 2017 is not available to download now. Admit card is the very important document required at the time of examination. Only those candidates who have a valid admit card are allowed to give the examination. The admit card holds the candidates name & roll number, exam date, exam center, etc.

Counselling

After the announcement of results, the counselling procedure will begins for providing admission to the eligible candidates. It is compulsory for the candidates to participate in the counselling round as the seat distribution will be carried out through this only.
